Called Accent Tree Service in early May. Got an answering service, left message. Several days passed, I called again to get a quote. Got a callback from Dan, scheduled a visit to look at project to get an estimate. Scheduled work for the following week. Dan arrived as scheduled, with crew and all needed equipment. They did an excellent job. Was very mindful of our sprinkler heads, and surrounding landscaping. Yard was left clean and neat, just as promised. I would gladly call this company again for any tree removal in the future. Quote was MUCH cheaper than anyone else that had bid. I have learned that perhaps it is best to call service people a couple of times, in the event your name, number & message don't quite reach the right department. Their Service did ME really well I needed to have some trees taken down that were sick and dying. They came in took the trees down along with taking care of some limbs that also needed to be cut and did a wonderful job on everything the cleanup was very good outside of a few shavings on the ground everything else was gone everything about what they did was very good. I personally recommend them just because they did such wonderful job, the men that were here were courteous and helpful. I called for an estimate for getting some stumps grinded. I spoke with a nice enough gal, who was helpful, she said that I would receive a call back in a day or two to schedule an estimate, and that if I didn't hear back to call. Well, never heard back and I didn't bother to call back either. Seems like they're too busy or not interested in doing smaller jobs? Don't feel like it's my job to have to keep calling to pay someone good money to do a professional job. None the less, kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Bought a "deal" through Tacoma dealsaver and had a hard time getting them to call me back (which they did, ultimately). They scheduled a day to come out (last Friday) and never did! Then, when my husband and I attempted to reschedule I was told that the rules were that I couldn't just redeem my coupon for the full amount (I paid $80 for $250 worth of service), but I had to pay more in order to redeem the amount. This wasn't part of the deal. I contacted dealsaver and hope to get my money back. read more

They don't call back when they say they will and appear to be disorganized, rude, and unprofessional. We purchased a limited time tree service offer through Amazon Local and had Ken Wynne, owner, over to assess the trees needing service. The offer was limited and he shared what we could do with the coupon purchased and what it would cost for additional work we needed. He didn't have the needed paper work to leave an estimate but said he'd mail one in a day or two. We really needed more work than just the one coupon. We got the offer, and didn't call right away. With about two weeks to go in the offer, we called and asked for another copy of the estimate - and to discuss work before time ran out. I was told someone would get back to me. No response. A week later, called again - same response. No response. Around D-Day - I called again - and received assurance that because they had no gotten back, the deadline would be extended. We wanted to see the estimate - which was promised again, but never showed up. Two weeks later, we went on a 3 week vacation. A week after getting back - I called again. Ken was on vacation. The gent who answered the phone, I think his name was Steve, said Ken would have to manage whatever I was asking him to do... and then started interrupting and talking right over me before I finished my sentence. Yes, I was an angry customer - and no, he didn't listen. At this point, we may have paid for a useless coupon. We will be contacting Amazon Local to strongly suggest they drop them. read more

I had 3 trees that had large broken branches hanging down back in May. After having several companies out for estimates, I chose to use Accent Tree Service to remove the branches and also trim back the trees. Accent showed up on time, safely did the job, and cleaned up everything. They had me come out and make sure I was happy with how much they removed. The price was also reasonable. They may be a little difficult to get ahold of, but the good ones are. I would use them again. Highly rconended. read more

Accent Tree removed a tree for me last year when they were in the neighborhood. The job was OK but pricey, and then the owner tacked on additional fees after the job was done, claiming the job was more that he expected. I paid and resolved not to use him again. Then he showed up in the neighborhood again. On Labor Day weekend. We had a large party planned and his job was very close to our house. We were naturally distressed that he was there on a holiday weekend. The owners were out of town. We asked him to schedule the job the next week and he refused. Then when we asked him how long it would take, explaining that he was ruining out planned event, and he just laughed, telling us to complain to our neighbors. We thought he was a jerk. Will never use his company again. He stayed on the job until after 5:30 that day. I know he has to make a living, I really do, but a holiday weekend? Really? read more

I am so disgusted by the way our tree trim turned out, and by the way we (the customer) were treated. We have used this company before and were pleased, however, we will never recommend this company, especially to the other 98 homes in our development! Hello, I recently wanted to negotiate a pruning job involving 3 trees and 3 bushes. Accent is NOT on Home Advisors where I initially looked. I took a couple of estimates. I worked with a Mr. Butler (offhand forgot his 1st name). The reviews above look to be all over the place. My experience was positive. The other company from Home Advisors. Accent considered my job small, so they threw in pruning a couple of large rhodies and a camilla that were not in the bid. They cleaned up, the estimate I felt was reasonable considering 2 guys were here for over an hour and a half. I for one will be using them again in the fall. The gentleman in charge of the bid loves his work and is extremely informative about all types of trees, foliage, and vegetation. The only twirk I would say is that in the course of doing the Camilla, they cut a short hose going to the hose storage box. My water spigot is behind there and the hose is hard to see, so my bet is they didn't even know it got cut. I didn't call them about it because I have done stuff like that myself, and the hose is only a few bucks to replace. So - take this for what it is worth, but they are certainly worth consideration if you are taking bids. read more

Called on Tuesday and set up an appointment for the estimator to come out on Friday (today) at 2pm. At 2:15pm I called just to confirm they'd be here soon. Person took message and said they'd be sure I would get a call back, shortly. At 3:25, I called and let them know I hadn't received a call back. They took my information and said they'd be sure I got a call back, shortly. It is 4:20 and I haven't received a call and the estimator hasn't shown up. I will be giving them a call to let them know they don't need to come, shortly. read more

These guys are OUTSTANDING!!! They showed up right on time and got the the job done, even better what I expected. I received estimates from four other companies and by far these guys had the best prices. Dan was very very honest, courteous and professional. He was also very knowledgeable on the trees I needed pruning and gave his recommendations. During the whole job he and his crew was very meticulous on every angle of the tress and bushes that needed the trimming. Even during the job he and his crew made sure that if that was what I wanted the tree or bush to look like. During the job they continued to cleanup and didn't leave nothing behind. Honestly, now days it's hard finding a good honest company that will get the job done and at good price. I'm definitely keeping these guys as my permanent tree and hedge service company. I can say don't waste your time by calling other companies, but instead I'll say you are really wasting your time calling other companies. read more

Accent did a GREAT job taking down 4 trees for us. 2 of them were huge!! They were professional, pleasant, and kept their word to come back a week later to finish the stump grinding. Will definitely hire them again if we need more trees removed. read more
