Requested weeding, mulching, and trimming of shrubs, got invoiced for mulching and trimming, so that is what they did, so that's my fault that they didn't weed. Quality of work is subpar. Low attention to detail. Not great listeners even when talking prior to work being done m like when I asked them to not trim a specific section, but add mulch still. Uneven trimming of shrubs, mulch on shrubs and not under the actual shrubs. They were responsive, but that's the only thing good about them. Just wait for Olivia to respond to this with specific things like "look at your compost bin and cameras, we clean", despite there being noticeable trimmings leftover. PS. 'The Pink Guys LLC' is not a registered business in Washington state. Edit: as you can see the response from the owner. The guy didn't bring enough mulch so he spreads it thinly and then lies about what i said. Said cutting the neighbors shrub was a curtesy when I asked for it before invoice was created, but since they chose not to put it in the invoice, it's not their problem. I met with him once, then before I left to soccer practice, and asked him to trim the top cuz he didn't, despite my invoice stating he would trim. He was too lazy to bring out the ladder... I don't have your number bud.. only your wife's. Nevertheless, you definitely need someone supervising you every 10 minutes because there is a standard procedure of putting tires on a car correctly, not just hand tightening them... let my photos speak for itself... lol

Desmond is an earnest guy and I appreciate the business he's creating, but I was very unsatisfied…read morewith his work. This was partially due to poor expectation-setting (on both our parts), and partially because he left the job less than half-finished. My yard had gotten away from me. I pointed out the weeds growing through cracks, overgrown hedges, and an unruly lawn that was more dandelion than grass. Desmond walked around the property twice before he gave me a quote to get me back to baseline. It was high and he seemed unable to itemize it, but I know that weeding dandelions is a demanding task, so I agreed. He returned with his family and set about working. 2.5hrs later, he rang the doorbell and said they had an issue with their babysitter and had to go, but that he'd be back early the next day to finish. The work that had been completed so far included mowing the front yard (typically a 30min project), pulling weeds out of half a flowerbed, and edging the lawn. He had also gotten rid of grasses that were outside the property line I had laid out during our walkthrough, and thus not part of the project. The backyard, hedges, weeds, and other flowerbeds were untouched. It did not appear to be 5hrs' (2.5x2 people) worth of work. He also left a mess of clippings around the house, and threw his daughter's juice box in the yard waste bin. A portion of the house was splattered with dirt that had been sprayed up from a machine. I asked about the dandelions in the yard and the weeds growing through cracks and he said he had no idea that they were part of the project, and thus weren't included in the quote. After a discussion to reset expectations, I agreed to a slightly lower quote because I didn't want to rip him off if he was working with the expectation of the higher rate for less work. I revised my request (no more dandelion removal), paid him half of the new quote for the day, and we agreed on the expectations for the second half of the project that'd take place the next day. That was 2 weeks ago (on June 14th, 2022) and we haven't heard from him since. From where I'm standing, he took a payment of twice what the work was worth and ran. I'm sorry we had such a miscommunication, but going forward, consider spending more time in the expectation-setting phrase and putting proposals in writing. And if there are delays, communicate that with your client. And if you're considering Green City, make sure payment is delivered *after* the service is complete.
