The woman that answered told me they had been doing a wedding on Saturday which was why they had to cancel my appointment. She was unable to find a time to fit me in. They could not do an evening appointment that week and once again were unable to schedule anything for a Saturday since they were doing another wedding. I am going elsewhere. Cancelling on a regular client to take on other business does not seem wise. Definitely not the kind of service I was used to when this was Splash and Ashley was there.

The receptionist told me that there was a price change at the beginning of the year and it all depends on who your stylist is.... Im just bummed because the price change was not reflected on the website, and I did not have a choice on who my stylist was. I suppose this is a more exclusive salon, but I do hope that they fix their website to reflect their actual pricing. $78 gone. Lesson Learned. I paid nearly $60 for a haircut, but instead of a professional service, I spent 45 minutes being forced to listen to Mark talk about himself. I heard all about every place he's gone snorkeling and why the sand is different in different locations--all while he made maybe 6 or 7 actual cuts to my hair. Because he was so distracted by his own stories, he put zero effort into the finish. He didn't even try to style or dry it properly, leaving my thin, shoulder-length hair completely flat to my head. When you spend that much money, you expect to walk out feeling good, not like you just paid to be an audience for a travel monologue.
