On the day of the appointment, the woman eith whom I booked the appointment called and said due to a call off, she was unable to have our take care of my friend and I at the same time. She said she would be able to do us one after the other. I told her that was fine. When we arrived, no one was easily visible in the salon. No music was playing. We were the only 2 people there. The woman I had spoken to on the phone came out of the back room. She was walking slowly. She stated she had fallen the night before and was injured. She moved very slowly and did my manicure and pedicure first. She made little attempt to make conversation. She did not know her own polishes very well and seemed very discombobulated. The manicure and pedicure were less than stellar. She did not ask if I needed my nails to be cut shorter. She did not trim my cuticles at all. My finger nails are unevey shaped and poorly painted. There is paint on my cuticles and naked strips around my edges. There was no attempt made to partially dry them before applying cuticle oil. Overall very disappointed and absolutely not worth the price.

She did the color (root only) and added about 7-10 highlights. Rushed thru this. Washed my hair and without a full blow dry (or trim as I asked for) she told me I'd have to come back another day for maybe lowlights a style and cut?!? I was EXTREMELY understanding of this woman's time. Was I happy -NO. But I understood. Perhaps she overbooked? However I called in and made an appointment. If she could not take me that day at 130 for the services I asked for then she should have told me so!?! Her friend had driven 2hrs so I was pretty understanding. However, I was also a paying customer. $160 later with hardly a blow dry. No trim. No style I walked out . I then Saw my hair in the natural light and have been upset since. I tried to call for 2days. Nobody answered. I finally got thru today at 9:45 am (sat.) and explained I need her to fix this. I have graduation this week. Lots of family events , lots of pictures. She said No. I have to wait 3 wks before she has time. 3 weeks?!? And his will fade by then?! Honestly I am so upset I have been treated this way. I don't have this kind of money for someone to make a mistake this way . I told her 10xs PLEASE NO RED!!! I trust you , you are the stylist not me. I was very patient with this woman. I wasn't happy to walk out with half wet hair and have to go home and dry and style myself especially since paying $160 for a service that was not completed. Today she made NO effort to apologize. Nothing. Basically said the best I can do is June 2. So I'm out $160 and will now have to go elsewhere to get this fixed -PAYING again. I am not ok with this and should absolutely be refunded. Again if she didn't have the time to do what I was asking when I called for an appointment she should have told me this. She did not listen to what I wanted or actually did NOT WANT. I was charged 175.00 for my hair to get OVER texturized, choppy and a chunk missing from the front. I messaged the shop the very next day, as well as sent photos showing the work. I received an "email correspondence" stating that I can schedule to come back in to the shop in a "few weeks" to get another cut to make up for the mess up. I declined to return and have NOT heard back since. This is extremely VERY unprofessional on many levels. Being a business owner myself, if I receive a message with an unhappy customer, I immediately contact them by phone and assure the issue is resolved in promptly and mannerly fashion.

I brought up the fact that throughout my haircut, the hairstylist would actually brush my eyelids and have her entire hand in my face. The co-owner gave me a litany of excuses, blaming my straight hair. I've had haircuts at other places and no one else found it necessary to get so close as to smudge my eyeliner. The hair stylist also dropped her scissors twice throughout the haircut. Finally, I skipped the blow-dry, like I mentioned. The entire process, talking to the hairstylist, wetting down my hair, and getting it cut took less than 30 minutes. The total cost was $30.

This was my first visit to this salon, and I came because I researched reviews and was excited to get a few services, which I never do for myself. All services were booked through Polished Salon on Phorest. I specifically asked for callus removal before and during my pedicure on my first visit, the young girl who did my pedicure replied " oh yeah! definitely! we've got an hour an a half!" but it was not provided. Instead, I was told to come back the following week, and they ended up doing an entire keratin treatment to remove my calluses. When I asked the front desk staff why the callus removal treatment was not performed during my first visit, the front desk staff replied, "I don't know." I booked a brow lamination service expecting professional results and clear communication, but the service did not turn out as expected. After my appointment, I noticed issues with the lamination and returned to the salon several times in an effort to have it corrected. Throughout the follow-up process, communication was very frustrating. The technician was difficult to reach, and when I contacted the salon with my questions and concerns, I was told she operates as her own separate business and that they could not help with concerns related to her work or clients. Since I booked through the salon, it was disappointing to feel that no one was willing to take responsibility for helping resolve the issue. The experience quickly became overwhelming as this was my FIFTH time back within one week, I was given answers such as "I don't know," and I felt the front desk had essentially told me I was on my own. I specifically asked the front desk staff to help me and provide answers; I never demanded a refund. I also apologized to everyone in the waiting area as I began to have a panic attack. I was sobbing so hard I could barely catch my breath. Another customer at the salon kindly stayed with me outside for about 30 minutes until I calmed down. I also reached out to the salon owner to share my concerns, but instead of feeling heard, I was described as causing a "commotion" and "aggressive," which was hurtful given how respectfully I had tried to address the situation. The technician did eventually refund the cost of the eyebrow service, but only after offering to redo my lamination for the 3rd time in one week (not healthy or safe) multiple return visits and a significant amount of time and effort on my part. During my last visit, she said she had "done a lot of work" on me and explained that my brow lamination was more of a "straightening" of my brow hair. My brows are naturally straight, so this would not have been necessary. I wish that had been discussed before the service or at my first follow-up, not after five visits. If my brows were not a good candidate or the results were expected to be limited, I should have been told upfront. While I appreciate the refund, it did not make up for the repeated trips, poor communication, and emotional distress. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business, and I hope my review helps others make an informed decision before booking.

My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was ultimately refused any corrective treatment, refund, or reasonable explanation. The response was " You are full of drama and do you want my lawyers phone number?" $700 for Botox is a good amount of money to not have satisfactory results. Botox is a medical aesthetic service that requires accountability and professionalism. Unfortunately, this business failed in both treatment results and customer care. I would not recommend their services to anyone expecting ethical practices, proper follow-up, or responsibility for outcomes.
