We weren't excited about driving all the way to Sherbrooke with a new weird noise, so we wanted to get it looked at. All the garages were closed, so we drove cautiously to our motel, looked up garages and got some recommendations, and bright and early the next morning we went out looking for someone to help. The place we had recommended to us was still closed at 8:15, so my wife tried one of the other places we had looked up, "Garage Keighan Mécanique". The woman she talked to was friendly, understood our concerns and timing issues, and they were willing to look at our car quickly before they went back to all the work they already had queued up. She called us back half an hour later, the problem was sorted. It was just a bent brake rotor causing some noise, so it wasn't a big deal, but the fact that they were able to help us immediately and get our plans back on track was very helpful and took away a big source of stress on our vacation. I can't swear that Garage Keighan Mécanique should be your choice for auto repair in Longueuil, but we had a good experience with them.

They changed the tires, did an oil change (not with mine and the were nasty about it...but I dint even know if they used synthetic!)! But nothing else and took the high road to talk down to say: what do you think? We dont have time! So why did I book 3 weekes prior and it'sgonna cost me an extra hour of labour? He says it's the compressor after saying it was not. He ask god an extra $600 .. A mechanic who does not know how to repair a car is a mechanic who will tip you off .

on Mon. Aug.19th/24 we were travelling from Ontario on our way to North Sydney, NS to catch the…read moreferry to Nfld. We were driving a 2020 F150 (bought new) with 57,000kms . pulling a 21 ft. Fifth wheel trailer. Going through Quebec we stoped to go into trailer then back in truck it would not start. It was dead, battery not the problem. lights all working. 2 CAA's came one to take our truck and one to take our fifth wheel trailer. We we about 1/2 east of Boucherville, Quebec and told them to take it to Boisvert Ford dealership in Boucherville to hopeful will diagnose what is wrong with it. My husband went into explain situation but the person at counter (male) was rude and said maybe in a week we can look at it. They were too busy. We are not locals trying to butt in. They didn't care that we had ferry to catch on Wednesday and stood to lose the full cost ($1,500.00 for truck,trailer,cabin...night crossing) for late date cancellation. However, luckily I had a cousin who lives in Boucherville and she let us drop our truck & trailer in her driveway. She called around to a couple of garages to help us and Mr. Louis-Philippe Descary from Midas in Boucherville told us to bring the truck there and he would look at it first thing Tuesday morning, as it was close to closing time. Caa then brought our truck there. Mr. Descary phoned the next day (tues.) at 2:30pm our truck was ready to go. The starter had died. We were on our way...long drive that day to get to ferry on Wednesday. Thankfulful a night crossing. Very disappointed in Ford dealership in Boucherville, with the person who wouldn't help us or even concerned about our situation.

After being stranded with lifgate jammed, interior lights still on even when we shot the motor, the driver's side door code not functional and rear view camera not giving us the 'lignes and sounds", we had stopped at three dealers (Woodbine, NJ, Manahawkin, NJ and Egg Harbor Township, NJ) - none would take us despite our emergency - especially traveling to up North (Canada) where everywhere for the next 6 weeks had been booked and could not be cancelled anyway ....would take us.... They all said: "go somewhere else we are booked solid". We finally arrived in Boucherville, QC. The dealer took us without hesitation and said that they would take care of everything. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and we got our car the next morning - everything was fixed and, surprise .... NO costs as we were still on warranty. Thank you to Isabelle, Veronica and the mechanic who made our problems fixed and the whole situation so smooth....
