I was quite surprised with the amount of selection that they had especially with known brands. The Shelves in this store are well stocked and the prices where unbelievable with some items being up to four times cheaper than some shops in Glasgow. I was in looking for an item even though they didn't stock that particular product I did find a substitute. This store does deserve a five star for prices, selection and good value.

Well the Paisley centre hardly the new harrods infact hardly the new anything…read more The shopping centre is old and seems very tacky to be fair , their isnt a lot in the shopping centre you have a lot of individual cafes, junk shops, card shops, phone shops, you also have a butchers, fishmongers, fruit & Veg shop, but with the likes of M&S being inside the centre this doesnt help the small businesses much and neitheir does having a morrisons near by. It also has a big Co-operative department shop which i am suprised is even still their if you look at the prices of items in the store. But it does have a nice cafe on the bottom floor and a thorntons and mcdonalds other than this its nothing special. The centre to be fair doesnt have much life even though it is in the centre of paisley. It could be doing with some better shops in their and a bit of life adding to it. The Paisley Centre suffers from a few empty units but the gem is the InShops. The InShops are full of little independent retailers - butchers, fish stall, cafes, furniture, nail bar, and a watch repairers. I always pop in here for repairs to my watch as the work is great and really cheap. The M&S has went from being a normal store to being an Outlet store, which is full of M&S products which have been highly discounted. There is also a foodhall full of M&S goodies. The Paisley Centre is ok - it could do with more filled units, but the InShops are worth checking out.

It's a shame really because I remember…read morewhen I was younger and I was living in a village in between the centre of Glasgow and Paisley town centre and at that time Paisley was a thriving, busy town with lots of shops. When I was about 13 my mum started letting me get the bus into Paisley with my friends to go around the shops because we were still a bit young to be let lose in big scary Glasgow! Nowadays though it's only really the Piazza that's left and the shops are horrible. There are lots of pound shops and bad ones at that! In terms of fashion, the most on trend stores include DR, Bonmarche, Ethel Austin and The Knitwear Gallery which says it all really! It is mostly older people who live in Paisley that shop in the Piazza as it really isn't worth the journey in from anywhere else in the Glasgow area.

For every occasion there is a reasonably priced card shop and for everything else there is Poundland and Homezome oh and if you're into arts and crafts or reading the Works is a nice substitute to the local more expensive WH Smith. I'm giving this 2 because I remember when I was little that there was such more variety of shops.

I have seen her purposefully shut the shop grate on someone's head before, I think because the women was looking in the door as she was closing. I had to help the injured lady down the road. When you go in there is no customer service & no please or thank you at the till. Just a nasty scowl the entire transaction. However if you get any other staff member it's the complete opposite experience. You have the deals & merchandise explained to you & offered gift wrapping the works. The older lady with glasses really does let this place down. I peep in to see if she is there before shopping there. Real shame as I love to shop local but she doesn't seem grateful for the custom.

It's a bit cramped between racks of clothes but this is a minor quibble. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly every time I've visited. You can access the shopping mall from the rear of the store beside the food hall, which is useful, especially in bad weather.

This is a whole other experience when you head into this shop located on the ground floor of the…read morePaisley Shopping Centre. You don't take it in at first but you stop, look, blink lots, then think, "did I just see what I thought I saw? Yup, a shop with people dressed in period costume". I just had to go in and investigate more. This shop is part museum, part sewing shop, part information centre. The shop is run by a group of volunteers who are using the shop to promote the event Renfrewhire Witch Hunt 1697 event on Saturday 9th June. They have examples of period costumes from the 17th century hanging on the walls. If you want an instant change there is a painted wooden panel where you can pop you head in and suddenly you're a 17th century peasant man or woman. You guessed it, I couldn't help myself and pop my head through. They encourage you to not only to come along to the event in June but to make your own costume and transform yourself so you can join in on the day in your own period costume. I want to become a lady, I'm no peasant woman. Hehe! There's sewing machines and volunteers on hand to help you out. There's also tutorial videos to help guide you. Not only can you get information from the staff and information dotted around the shop but there's a interactive multi-media package on a laptop that you can scroll through at your own leisure finding out the history of the project and what the project have been doing. They said even the MSP Douglas Alexander came to visit the shop. It's a very unusual shop and to find in a shopping centre makes an interesting stop/shop to the day.

Crucially, they discovered the power of the myth of the horseshoe and the powerful symbolic act of replacing it was incorporated into the project. The task now is to carry out further research into the textile history, its origins around the events of 1697 and the way it underpinned the flourishing of Paisley and Renfrewshire in the 19th Century until its decline in the 1960s as well as to spread the findings as widely as possible in the community through a touring exhibition. Our core young people are now sharing their findings with schools throughout Renfrewshire (supported by a CfE approved learning resource) The original young members of the team have now formed a separate organisation (a SCIO) and are represented on the board of Renfrewshire Witch Hunt 1697. Hidden away in Paisley, this place is a paradise for those interested in outdoor sports, in particular skiing and snowboarding. There's a wide range of merch available for enthusiasts in both arenas, but since my boyfriend is passionate about snowboarding it's probably my forte in a place like this, and what brought me here in the first place. I can't believe the savings in this store. Not only on boards, but on the clothing! Summits stock some very trendy patterned cargo pants for almost a third of the price they would be in the centre of Glasgow. For brand names such as Burton and Animal, this is very exciting news indeed. Aside from jackets, they do a number of boards, including a fantastic range for women! It's great for people like me who have the stench of amateur about them and need a helping hand. Speaking of assistance, the staff are all very cool, friendly and willing to help. Although some experts would enter a store like this knowing exactly what they're looking for, it's reassuring that staff know what they're talking about. For me, it's a God send! I try to look cool in sports stores but I evidently look clueless since I was spoonfed knowledge through every step of my Summits journey. But I didn't mind, because I needed it.
