The office staff is very nice. For any reason if I cannot answer their call, they leave a voicemail and send an email. I never had to try to get a hold of them. I refer almost all of my friends who are looking for professional tax specialists. I had to switch maybe 3-4 tax specialists until I was referred to this office. I felt like other tax specialists were just filing my taxes before just to get over with. They never asked questions about what is coming into my account and what is going out of it and for what purpose. Since this office is added to my QuickBooks, they analyze the account activity. I have used TurboTax and H&R Block in the past, years later I realize that I never knew all tax benefits that I was eligible for. I never got any tax returns. Uncle Sam would never give me. You can use self-service platforms only if you know exactly what you are doing. My situation is not that simple, I have multiple 1099 like forms, W2, tax forms from trading platforms like Webull and TD AmeriTrade from stock trading, so I need a professional eye to go through them. They service individual and corporate clients, so I believe no client is too small or too big for them. Give it a try!

Save yourself $1500+ and go to H&R block because the outcome will be the EXACT same, except you'll be done in 2 hours rather than 4+ months and pay $500. H&R block will also do the actual work for you in front of you rather than you needing to do Excel sheets and use a 1990s-style portal to upload YOUR work and NEVER meet a human once. Why is this acceptable and 2k? We had a unique tax issue and despite the fee, the answer was call the IRS. Isn't that what they are supposed to do? We should have known when they were pushing for us to do an extension from day 1 when we NEVER needed one before them. All it did was create unnecessary stress and prolong the torture by 4 more months. The amount of back and forth for things that could have been done and handled in person was quite unbelievable. As part of the outageous fee, they were supposed to go over last year return to make sure we got the best return, but either they never did it or H&R Block did a great job to begin with (which I believe is the latter). All in all, this was $1800 down the drain and almost 9 months of absolutely unnecessary waste of time and money to not have any quality help and better outcome than the chain places. When I told friends and coworkers the amount we were charged, they thought it was plain outrageous. When I told them the time and outcome, they thought it was plain insanity. They were right on both. Should you still choose torture, make sure you download your tax by November 30th as it will be gone and they will CHARGE you for your OWN return.

I had no communication with the accountant who prepared my returns after submitting documents online. He asked me no questions. Mistakes ranged from getting my name wrong to filing the incorrect status to saying I owed an amount that was actually a refund. I was given an explanation that it is very busy. Yes, it is tax season. I would recommend not taking on more clients than you can effectively service. I will not be returning.
