My children are always excited to go in every morning--and sometimes they're so excited that they run inside and forget to say goodbye to me! As a mom, that means everything. The school provides truly exceptional care. Children are separated into classrooms based on age, with 2-3 teachers in each room. The facility is clean and safe, there is a wonderful outdoor play area, and they even have a kitchen and chef who prepares meals for the children daily. They also offer so many enriching activities, including music, dance, soccer, martial arts, water play, summer programs, and more. Mrs. Shazna also goes above and beyond to create special experiences for the children and families, from beautiful parades and concerts to unforgettable events and memories. Ms. Maria and Ms. Jessica were incredibly loving, patient, and caring with him. They taught my son so much and helped build a strong foundation that made his transition into kindergarten so smooth. You have now accussed me of "repeated concerns regarding hostile communication and ongoing disruptive interactions with staff." For the prospective families reading this, I implore you, Ms. Peggy, to define what your definitions of "hostile communication" and "ongoing disruptive interactions" and "combative" are. I also give you permission to state what dates and claims about me you are even referring to, but make sure to to include "critical context" without being "inaccurate" or "misleading" when doing so. Parents need to be aware that you were never around during the incidents I described, so you have no basis for knowing whether anything I described was inaccurate. The teachers in the infant room were some of the most warm, welcoming, and wonderful women I know. I genuinely felt like they loved my daughter and knowing she was in such caring hands every day meant so much to me. When picking a daycare you can go somewhere that is simply just going to keep your child's needs met, or you can go somewhere that your child can actually grow. The latter is LAG. There were specific times for activities, music class, snack time, outside time, etc. Even at a young age I noticed the difference in my daughter after her being at LAG. The facility itself is so well-kept. The classrooms are clean, not overwhelming with too many toys or screens or colors, and they have a beautiful outdoor area as well. We unfortunately had to withdraw our daughter from LAG recently because we are relocating to a new area and trust me when I say it was the hardest and saddest decision to make. LAG is such a special place and we feel so lucky our daughter got to attend here.

They have two main outdoor areas: one for the little kids and another for the older ones. The outdoor play area immediately made me feel happy, and I knew this was the place I wanted my kids to be. My daughter attended from ages 2 to 4, and now my son has started at 2 years old. LAC also has an infant center, which looks wonderful! I seen parents taking off their shoes in the infant center, keeping it extra clean! Last year, they did a bunch of new updates in all classrooms and bathrooms. The classrooms are nice and well-maintained. I especially loved Ms. Priscilla, Ms. Joan, and Mrs. Shannon. And if you need anything, ask for Leilany in the office, she's super nice and always helpful. One of the reasons why I was so quick to choose Cordcare after touring many daycares, is because Connie is very thorough and organized, as well as a natural caregiver. I felt like I could trust her with my babies immediately. Every day daycare is attended, they are sent home with a report of what they ate, when/ how often they were changed or went potty, when they took a nap and woke up, as well as any concerns or notes of anything they're running low on that you need to bring in (aka wipes, diapers, or formula- if used). Connie also always sends me a text if she has any concerns she thinks I should know about. I'm so grateful that they care for my boys like their own.. they even had a little birthday celebration for my youngest's 1st birthday. It was so sweet of them.. I want to note it was a schlep for us to get to Tarzana from Sherman Oaks, but well worth it given our experience. Dali is warm, loving, highly experienced, and cares deeply about children and their families. I felt so comfortable leaving our baby with Dali each morning and when we requested photos or updates on how she was doing Dali would promptly text us. It is difficult to find high quality childcare and I was very impressed with the calm and family like atmosphere Dali has cultivated. She keeps the environment and materials exceptionally clean. The children adore her and her assistant and one another. I can't recommend her enough and I do to every parent who is in need of daycare in the valley.

When my oldest started, it was during the pandemic and she had been out of a day care setting for months while everything was locked down, so needless to say she was somewhat difficult since we couldn't really socialize much with social distancing in place. Dali was patient, caring, and understanding with her and helped my little girl adjust to socializing with other children and learning boundaries and discipline in a respectful way. Once she adjusted, she thrived under her care. Prior to starting TK, she knew her letters and numbers and even writing her own name! I was always kept up-to-date on her progress and growth, alerted to any concerns regarding behavior and/or illness, and provided with advice and/or reassurance when facing developmental challenges (at the time, as a first time parent, this meant the world to me). She did this with both of my girls and gave me such great peace of mind when they were under her care. Both my girls were there at the same time at one point when they were too young to start school and she handled them wonderfully. Socializing with new friends, eating nutritious foods, waterplay days during summertime, playtime with fun toys, arts and crafts, games and story time, Dali's day care has it all in a spacious and cozy home that feels like a second home for your kiddos. They also keep us informed of any "close contact" cases in the AAKP community. The teachers have been great and my little one loves them a lot! The director and assistant director are wonderful! The staff overall communicate with parents regularly, taking the guesswork out of how my little one's day went. They are also easily available via phone and email. AAKP truly cares about the kids and give them a good foundation. My little one just blossomed while he was there! The facilities are nice, the kids have plenty of things to play with. They do artwork, story time, etc. Summer camp is so fun with outside services and water play days (fyi, summer camp is a small extra fee to help offset these extras). I even got the chance to volunteer to do a music class for the kids over Summer, which I really enjoyed. AAKP also made upgrades to the playground area to smooth out the ground, making it much safer. I highly recommend AAKP!
