First time writing a Yelp review but I needed to let the world know how highly we recommend Dali's daycare. She really came through for us when we needed day care a couple of days a week during the summer for our 1 year old. I want to note it was a schlep for us to get to Tarzana from Sherman Oaks, but well worth it given our experience. Dali is warm, loving, highly experienced, and cares deeply about children and their families. I felt so comfortable leaving our baby with Dali each morning and when we requested photos or updates on how she was doing Dali would promptly text us. It is difficult to find high quality childcare and I was very impressed with the calm and family like atmosphere Dali has cultivated. She keeps the environment and materials exceptionally clean. The children adore her and her assistant and one another. I can't recommend her enough and I do to every parent who is in need of daycare in the valley. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dali and her staff are the sweetest, most caring, accommodating, and loving people who have helped me with both of my girls from they were babies until they were ready to start TK. She and her staff were like extended family to my girls; it takes a village and trust me you want her and her team as part of your village. My oldest started at 18 months old and my youngest at 5 months old. My girls both adore her and have benefitted immensely from being under her care. Both of them always looked forward to going there every morning. She even helped with potty training which, as you parents know, is a challenge! She was patient with accidents, reassuring us when we got understandably frustrated, and was an immense help in that department. When my oldest started, it was during the pandemic and she had been out of a day care setting for months while everything was locked down, so needless to say she was somewhat difficult since we couldn't really socialize much with social distancing in place. Dali was patient, caring, and understanding with her and helped my little girl adjust to socializing with other children and learning boundaries and discipline in a respectful way. Once she adjusted, she thrived under her care. Prior to starting TK, she knew her letters and numbers and even writing her own name! I was always kept up-to-date on her progress and growth, alerted to any concerns regarding behavior and/or illness, and provided with advice and/or reassurance when facing developmental challenges (at the time, as a first time parent, this meant the world to me). She did this with both of my girls and gave me such great peace of mind when they were under her care. Both my girls were there at the same time at one point when they were too young to start school and she handled them wonderfully. Socializing with new friends, eating nutritious foods, waterplay days during summertime, playtime with fun toys, arts and crafts, games and story time, Dali's day care has it all in a spacious and cozy home that feels like a second home for your kiddos. I've been sending my child here for some time now and I couldn't be more pleased. It's not a small thing to hand your kid off to a stranger but from the very first time I toured Dali's home, we felt completely comfortable. The best parenting decision I made was to send both of my children to Dali's Day Care. From the time they were babies until they were in TK, both of my children attended Dali's. She and her team have taken excellent care of my children -- helping them learn everything from their ABC's to how to be respectful to other children. Dali not only creates a safe environment for children to learn and play, but she also goes above and beyond to make every child feel loved and accepted. My daughter was Miss Dali between age 2-3 until we moved out of state. We found Miss Dali after leaving a different home daycare in the area due to signs of neglect. Needless to say, my partner and I had nerves about sending our girl to another caretaker after such a traumatic ending with the former. However, quickly it was clear that Miss Dali runs a special program as our daughter happily ran into her house every morning after about 3 days of adjustment. Dali and the other caretakers (Miss Anna and Miss Anush) are all so warm, patient, and encouraging. My daughter not only learned so much here (social skills, all kinds of songs, fine motor skills, days of the week, etc.) but she really felt loved by her caretakers too. As a parent I never worried that she was being treated with anything other than kindness. Dali is also a wonderful mentor for new parents. When we were going through tough transitions for my child (potty training, arrival of a younger sibling, etc.), Dali would spend extra time with my partner and I at drop-off / pick-up to give caretaking advice and reassurance. And even since moving out of state 3 months ago, my daughter still mentions the friends she met at Miss Dali's house. The way that the friendships she made there are so deep-rooted is a real signal of what a wonderful daycare this is. I can't say enough positive things about Miss Dali's. There is no one I trust more than Dali to take care of my kids. I have had both my son and daughter with her for years and she is the best of the best. The first time I had a tour of the daycare, I felt as though I have known Dali my whole life. She is very warm and inviting and gives you peace of mind. My kids are always so happy to run inside and spend the day with her and the other teachers. They have a structured day filled with activities and my kids learned so much over there. My daughter comes home and sings me new songs and yells out her ABCs with excitement. It is so great to have my kids with others in their age group because it really advances their learning and social skills. Dali somehow also works miracles and gets these kids to nap during the day. I could never do it myself at home, but again, Dali is a pro and knows exactly how to get these kids to follow her instructions. Also, one of the best things is that she cooks amazing organic meals for these kids twice a day. I'm talking healthy, vegetable filled soups that they ACTUALLY eat (and ask for more)! She also does fun water play in the summer time and has a beautiful (safe) covered outdoor soft play area. She sends you pictures and videos of your kids whenever you ask and she honestly treats them like they are her own kids. I absolutely adore the warm and loving environment she has made for them and I owe her so much for years of amazing care she has provided. It honestly breaks my heart to see them get older and have to move onto a big kid school. Dali has taught them everything they need to know to go into kindergarten and they are well prepared. But I will never have the peace of mind that Dali gave me. I could drop my kids off and leave every day knowing that they are in great hands. Not once did I have to call her and ask how things are going. My kids would always be happy running over to me at pick up and would tell me how great their day was. Don't even think twice about bringing your kids to her because they will be in amazing hands. It's a smaller daycare so spots don't open up too often. I couldn't possibly explain my gratitude and love for Dali in words. I had such a hard journey finding a solid at home nanny and life guided me to daycare. I researched so much and found Dali through tons of references on a mom fb group, I even was given references to call and talk to by Dali! The second I met her I felt a deep trust and connection. I could feel the purity and love radiating from her. My daughter within 3 days of going was excited to see them and didn't cry at drop off. We started my daughter there part time at 9 months may 2023 and she's been full time since. They get organic food, clean water and lots or care and love. Dali will respond on text and call with any questions or personal input and let's us know right away when our little one is not well. Her staff are all so kind and gentle. She has progressed massively from being there around different age groups and it's helped her in all social settings. I get emotional thinking about how blessed I am to have found this place because her being in full time care has helped our family immensely and helped me progress out of postpartum. She said it a bunch of times, and I thought she must be talking to one of the kids and I was misunderstanding. Then she hung up. When we moved to Encino 5 months ago we didn't know anyone. Both my husband and I work fulltime and we were on the lookout for a day care for our daughter who was 25 months old then. We came across Dalis day care on yelp and read really great reviews by previous parents. We went to take a tour and found Dali to be extremely passionate and enthusiastic about her kids and her home day care. We saw that she has lots of books, pretend play toys, puzzles, magnet toys, puppets, outdoor space with play structure and so on.. and we really liked it and our daughter started in September 2017. Since the last 5 months my daughter's vocabulary has quadrupled! She learns a lot at her "school". She has learnt songs, rhymes, stories. My daughter is thriving and loves to go to school. Dali makes home cooked Georgian food every day.. and my daughter loves it. She provides lunch and dinner and snacks and milk.. when I pickup at 5.30pm my daughter is not hungry. She's happy and always has had a good day with miss Dali and her friends. She also loves the new teacher miss Sveta. This is my second (and long overdue) review of Dali's. I am writing this today out of nostalgia as my second daughter recently started preschool and we both really miss seeing Dali every day. I've known Dali for 6 years as she cared for both of my daughters. My older daughter went to Dali's for over 2 years and then left for preschool. At that time I was so sad for her to leave Dali's but knew that it wouldn't be long before my second daughter would be going - I just didn't know how soon! I wasn't planning on going back to work until my second daughter was older but I got called about starting a contract job when she was only 3 months old. I immediately called Dali (who wasn't expecting my younger daughter to start for several months) and told her about my contract and luckily she was able to take my baby. With my older daughter I wasn't ready to start her in daycare until she was a year old but the difference this time was that Dali was now like family and the only person I trusted to take care of my baby while I went back to work. Everything everyone else says about Dali is true - she is so loving, her place is wonderful, clean, and kid friendly, her food is amazing, her staff is warm and loving, she does play based activities with the kids, art projects, sing-a-longs etc. but through all the playing the kids learn their letters, colours, opposites, etc and she even has a Holiday party every year! Dali is available to talk about how your kid is doing, she helps potty train, you can text her during the day for updates and she will even send you pictures and videos of your child if you ask her to. My daughter loves Dali so much and so do I. I can't say enough good things about her. In fact, Dali moved to Encino from Sherman Oaks but we still made the drive for 3 years from Valley Village in the morning and all the way from downtown every night just so that our younger daughter could go to Dali's. She could have started preschool (which is 2 minutes from home) a year earlier but we did not want her to leave Dali's! If you are looking for a loving daycare that's like a second home you owe it to yourself (and child) to visit Dali's - even if it's a little out of your way. read more

Dali's Child Daycare is the next best thing to your own home! She treats each child as her own! Gives them love, hugs, attention, teaches and watches over them! Dali and her staff keep them or get them on a wonderful, healthy napping and eating schedule and definitely teaches them all the A,B,C's and 1, 2, 3's. They do songs, read stories, bring home art and have amazing play time! They even rotate toys seasonally so the children are always stimulated and actively engaged! They have wonderful outdoor playing areas and even a grass lawn! And Dali's food is LOVE! She cooks every meal for them! Provides healthy snacks and her hours are amazing for us full time working parents, so you never pick up your child hungry! In fact, our daughter learned to eat all kinds of wonderful fruits and vegetables at Dali's! To this day, her favorite food is PEAS! We were lucky enough to find Dali and introduce our daughter to her and her other children when she was 18 months old! We hated leaving Dali and her Daycare and we still keep in touch! We were initially drawn to Dali's Day Care when we heard that Dali cooks organic food for her kids. However, upon meeting Dali for the first time our decision was cemented and we knew that our 2-year-old son would be in great hands. Dali has a natural energy and spirit that is enormously comforting at the same time. Also, as she was previously a kindergarten teacher, many of her activities are both fun and educational. Dali has one or two friendly assistants helping her at all times, with a house in the hills of Encino featuring an epic view from the large grass pad in the backyard. It is an awesome place for kids to run around. I believe she only takes a limited amount of children at one time so put your child's name on the waitlist early. 5 stars, would not hesitate to recommend Dali! read more

I should start by saying that Dali is one of the most nurturing and loving woman that I have ever met. She loves the kids and it's easy to see how much they all love her. She is a wonderful teacher (she has a degree in child education) a loving mother herself, and a damn good cook. I'm not gonna lie, she teaches me a lot too.. I ask her pretty much anything that I don't know (which is a lot) and she always takes the time to offer advice and help me not to stress so much. My daughter is 16 months old and has been going to Dali's since she was about 9 months. We are going to stay with Dali until she kicks us out! All of the food Dali makes is organic and freshly cooked by her in her kitchen. And let me tell you - it is delicious !!!! Like big proper amazing home cooked meals - it's incredible. The kids get lunch and dinner and snacks. Her home is warm, inviting and CLEAN! It really does feel like a second home for my daughter. Dali only allows a small number a children so there is a waitlist which is obviously not ideal BUT at the same time it's also wonderful. A small number of children allowed to enroll means more attention and love for your child. I called Dali when my babe was just a few months old and she told me i'd have to be put on the list for when an opening comes up. I said ok but i wanted a tour and to meet her. so we did. and right away I knew I wanted my daughter in her daycare so I didn't mind waiting. I had to start with one day a week and then slowly go to two days when a spot opened and then three days etc. Now my 16 month old daughter goes 5 days a week and as soon as we pull up to Dali's she gets so excited and laughs and waits for Dali to open the door and then BAM! huge smile and I no longer exist. Every kid looks so happy when they are getting dropped off. We love Dali so much ! Bottom line is- I trust Dali with my child's life and I have never doubted that decision - not once. What can I say about Dali's? She is the most kind and amazing person! I say thank you everyday for the luck I had when I knock on her door! I had my Bella going to Dali's for the last 6 months, she enter the daycare when she was just a one year old little baby and now she is running around and is always smiling when we get there! Claudia, the assistant, is also REALLY great...they both make you feel very comfortable in letting your baby there. Besides that, they help you with everything they can, I trust her implicit and ask her things about anything you can possibly imagine and she is ALWAYS doing her best to answer me and help me! I can not say enough amazing things about Dali and her incredible day care. For the first six months of my son's life I had a full time nanny. It was a great experience but I could tell that my son needed more stimulation. I had heard from a few of my friends how great their day care experience was so I decided to see if this would be a good route for my child. I called many daycare's and not only did they all have wait lists but not one of them would even talk to me other than just tell me that they had no openings. This was until I came across Dalis Day Care. Although Dali had a wait list she took the time to talk to me for almost an hour. Immediately, I knew she was someone special and so was her day care. Then when I came to visit and got to meet Dali in person and see the day care, I was even more impressed. Although we had to wait a few months for an opening, it was well worth the wait! My son has now been going to the daycare for almost a year and he has grown tremendously in his speech and development. The environment is so nurturing and supportive and I couldn't dream of a better place for my son. When it comes to our children we only want the best for them and Dali is indeed the best pre-school you can find. It's actually not a pre-school, it's an extended family that takes care of your child. Dali gives her love and care to every child and makes sure they are all safe and happy. Dali's daycare is really fantastic. We moved to the USA about a year ago with our 5 months old and he started at Dali's at 7. It was a big move for us, I needed to make sure my baby was in good hands, and he was. He was always a big sleeper (and still is) and Dali has really made sure to respect his rythm. At 17 months, she makes sure he still takes his naps (very much needed) naps a day, she is feeding the kids home made soups, with many vegetables and following the routine of each kid so well. It did not take long for me to be certain that my baby would be fine there. When we drop him in the morning, he always is so happy to go there and play with all the other kids and Dali. Dali also works with amazing people who treat children as if they were family. It's an environement that is both healthy and caring. This is exactly what I was expecting from my baby. I am SO happy I found Dali's Day care. My daughter has really grown since her first day. She says "please" and "thank you", she's good at sharing, and she sings and talks all the time. She even started singing her ABC's at 22 months! And that's because of Dali. If you're looking for a day care that feels like home, this is it! Dali's day care is clean, it has a great outdoor play area, a great indoor play area, tons of toys, books, puzzles, home cooked meals, activities for the kids, story time and LOTS of LOVE and care. We have had our daughter in Dali's care since she was 18 months old and I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Dali has been so flexible with our schedule and I feel completely comfortable that she's being given lots of attention and truly taken care of. A newborn sibling in the family, not seeing mommy for few days and her beloved grandfather left far away were not easy transitions for my daughter who was 18 month old that time. We enrolled our 2.5yr old son when we moved from Texas to California early this year. He loves going to "school" every day and is always very proud to bring home his "work" and show it off. I can't begin to express how blessed I feel having Dali and her team as caregivers for my 17 month old son. Dali, Claudia, and Lily are so wonderful and extremely patient with my little energetic guy! It's such a scary world out there and it's so refreshing to find a place where you feel your child is safe, learning, having fun, and eating healthy meals (made by Dali). It's so comforting when my son extends his arms out for a hug to Dali, Claudia or Lily - it reassures me that he's being cared for with love. She caters to my son's needs by providing him with extra hugs (he's very affectionate), providing an extra nap during the day if she feels he needs it, she also feeds him breakfast every morning (prepared by me), and something that I appreciate so much is that she texts me pictures of him periodically and responds to any text I send her inquiring about my son -- did I mention she's patient? I highly recommend Dali's Daycare to any parent doing their research for a potential caregiver. I come from a culture that traditionally does not send their kids to daycare, but instead, are taken care of by a family member so I was nervous going through the daycare vetting process. Dali is the most loving, caring, wonderful person to care for our son. I honestly can't imagine our lives without her. She took us in at a difficult time, when our nanny had to abruptly stop working. I had never wanted to send my son to a daycare so early but after meeting Dali and her staff it was obvious that we needed to give it a try. My son runs giggling into her arms as he enters the house every morning, so excited to see and be with her. Her hugs are contagious and her love is endless. Not only is the love Dali gives the kids evident but so is her attention to safety, learning and health. Let me start by saying I am a big momma worrier and my baby girls was so attached to me that she would not stay with anyone if I was not there. I look for daycare for a long time and I got a tour of each single daycare in our area which I did not feel comfortable to leave my baby with any of them. When I enter Dali´s daycare I feel like she is the one. The way she was interacting with other kids was like they are one of her own babies. I start to leave my baby with her, she was so patient and loveing that my baby runs to her arms every single morning. Saturday and sunday she keeps asking to go to her to play. Her staff are AMAZING too, they are exactly like her caring and loving. She is learning alot. She knows ABC and numbers and she is only 2 years old. I can not recommend Mrs.Dali enough. I heard about Dalis Daycare through a friend of mine who sent there kids to her. They always said amazing things about Dali and her staff. I started taking my daughter to Dalis daycare when she was a little over year old. As soon as I walked in to meet Dali I instantly felt a connection. Her home is so warm and friendly and It just felt right. Dali and Claudia are so good to my daughter. She had a tough time in the beginning and they were so patience with her. I have seen such a change in her personality since starting. She's speaking more, singing along with songs and overall has just grown up so much. Dali also provides homemade meals for all the kids. She has an amazing outdoor area for the kids to play in and of course an entire playroom full of great educational toys. Her hours are also get for full time working parents. She does art projects with the kids during holidays which I love seeing. Being a first time mom it is always hard leaving your child with someone you just met but I can't say enough great things about Dali and her staff. My daughter loves going there everyday and she is so happy there. That's the best feeling in the world knowing your child is in a safe and educational environment. In the beginning I was skeptical about our daughter attending any daycare in a private house, but after meeting Dali, she made me feel more comfortable, and everything she advertised during our tour was superseded. Our daughter started at around 13 months of age, and she excelled tremendously. Her speech development was and still is more advanced than kids who are 6 months older than she is. Dali exposes all the kids to different activities. Even if they are not at that age level for a given activity, I feel that exposure to a more challenging activity helps build a better skill set and intelligence. She keeps them constantly stimulated, and it's overall a wonderfully balanced program. I'm not sure what Andrea O was referring to because Dali would never use vulgar language, much less when answering the phone for her daycare. She has an accent so there's a possibility that Andrea O misheard what she said. Dali is kind and loving and knows each of her student very well. She has a huge heart and goes above and beyond to help a family. I highly recommend this program! read more
