Total hours my Doctor has had to spend on the phone with them in the past year however equates to 9:23.16. (9 hours, 23 minutes.. etc) She sets a timer for every call because she is part of a study. I'd guess my own number as a patient has been around 8 hours. It takes me at least a half an hour to reorder my medication every single month. At least. i dont have experience with any other pharmacies for injection shots. perhaps they deserve a lower grade than 3.. but at least they arrive on time for the most part. read more

My initial experience was very good until they said I owed more money and couldn't get my script until it's paid. I spoke with the billing dept who advised everything was all set and then when it's time to reorder they say I owe another 2300.00. wait time is uually an hour when you call and once you resolve with one dept you get flipped To another dept. My prescription was given to them on May 28 with a preapproval on May 29, 2026. Today is June 10 14 days later and it's still sitting with Pharmacy verification in progress. I have psoriatic arthritis because I've been out of medicine. I've been in a lot of pain. I asked to speak to the manager. They won't let me speak to the manager. They assured me they put a rush job on this on Friday, but here we are on Wednesday and it's still sitting in the basket at the pharmacy stating verification in progress. Very poor customer service and I don't understand why it takes now over two weeks to get it in the mail. read more

Teams do not talk to each other, their processes are complex and lengthy and they do not seem to care about their customer's experience at all. This company has horrible customer support and the only thing they care about is getting their money. If you've fallen in hard times and have a balance they will deny you lose assistant sustaining medications even if you now have copay assistance. Not surprised to see all the negative reviews of this online specialty pharmacy. I have had to deal with them for the past year because my Medicare D drug plan provider uses them for specialty prescriptions. I take a biologic medication that is expensive and must be sent in refrigerated packaging. From the very start of the year I had problems getting my medicine, for 2 months it was caught in some kind of limbo where one part of the company didn't know what the other was doing and kept shifting the blame for the problems. Then a few weeks after I go my first filled prescription they sent me a check for $765! I had no idea why they sent me the check as I am on Medicare and am using the Medicare payment program since my drug out of pocket costs quickly rose to the cap of $2000. I called and tried to tell them they sent me the money in error but the nice folks at the call center in India said that the money was a credit I was owed. So, I banked it! And as for the phone support, these Indians are so hard to understand over the phone with heavy accents and mumbled words. I wish I could change pharmacies but my doctor said they are all pretty bad. read more

After being told they would review my calls alerting me to the price of my medication 4 times and that they would accelerate my issue they lied every time. No one ever got back to me. They asked for consent to send my prescription and afterwards billed me for $438.81! Never in my life would I agree to that. Unscrupulous to say the least. Every call was the same. This is the worst speciality pharmacy to exist. My doctors office switched to this terrible company for their infusion center. My Tricare insurance representatives have been fighting Accredo because they won't send my infusion medicine. I've been on it for 8 years, have never missed a dose, and they just won't send the medicine because they are saying claim is rejected and Tricare has literally been yelling at them "there in no claim rejected, she is fully covered, send the damn medication." If this was life or death in needing this medicine to survive, I'd be dead. Worst company to exist and now switching doctor offices because of having to deal with this disaster of a "speciality pharmacy". Nothing speciality about them other than being a complete joke. I am very disappointed in the poor service provided by Accredo. My medication must be shipped and stored refrigerated, so it is important that someone be home to receive it, yet Accredo cannot provide an accurate delivery date. The shipment arrived the day before it was supposed to and no one was home. Fortunately it was a cold day; otherwise the medicine would have degraded. Calls regarding questions about the medication are bounced between the pharmacy and the nurse, neither providing a complete answer, and "huh, that's a good question" did not inspire confidence. Two calls and my doctor's support finally resolved the issue. They cannot be trusted to provide needed medications. Do not use them. read more

I don't want to give them a star at all. From day 1 they have been a nightmare. Shipment delays, losing prior authorizations that have been sent to them several times by my doctors office. Claiming that its insurance holding it up then in the same conversation 2 minutes later saying insurance has cleared it and its being shipped that day... only for it not to ship that day.. or the next... or the next.. finally received it a week after it was supposed to be delivered causing me to have to reschedule dr appointments. Then this time my second order from them on this prescription they are saying all the same things... it's like no one knows how to do their job there. They sugar coat everything trying to just pass you off. They promise text and email updates yet you receive nothing. You are told that you are about to get a tracking number to not receive one. Worst company I have ever had to deal with, not just a specialty pharmacy. Every month there is a problem. We have 2 biologics that need fulfillment through a specialty pharmacy and this company can never get it right. It was so bad onetime my wife had to go 8 days without her meds. I placed a refill order 11 days ago for delivery TODAY and we get a call TODAY that the shipment was delayed. When I called I was told there was a "fulfillment issue" (sounds like BS to me). I don't know how anyone gets their medication. I have been trying since January. They say the doctor didn't send it but the nurse shows me on their iPad that they have. I call them and they are like oh yeah....Now we are waiting on prior approval....Well that was given already....Oh, well our system says it has an error, let me check on that. It's always something. I have spent at least a few hours dealing with them and zero results. Not sure if they even provide medication because seeing all these poor reviews and how many times I have tried makes one wonder. Script needed dr approval for refill, Accredo let me know (YAY)... I let Accredo know that I have an appointment in a couple of weeks and that for May, the Dr. would provide me with a sample and Accredo can pick up refills in June. Did that stop daily calls/texts...? No. I asked them to suspend for 30 days and all they could do was cancel the prescription and take me off the contact list. Those people have too much time on their hands, call/text too often and don't read notes or work with the patients... they are on auto-pilot to pump refills out and make their money... they are not about caring for the patient. Accredo Pharmacy has shown a shocking level of incompetence and indifference. My minor child was due for a critical medication yesterday, a medication she needs to manage a serious chronic illness and prevent pain and complications. As of today, Accredo cannot even provide a delivery date. Let that sink in. A child is left in pain and at risk because this pharmacy cannot manage its own processes. This was not a last-minute request. Prior authorizations were already approved. We followed every rule, made every phone call, and still ended up with delays, misinformation, and empty apologies. Each representative passes the problem along, while no one takes responsibility and nothing gets done. Accredo's failures have real consequences. This is not a delayed sweater or a missed refill for vitamins. This is a child's health. Their lack of urgency, accountability, and compassion is appalling. If you are considering Accredo for specialty medications, especially for a child or anyone with a serious condition, be warned. You will spend hours on the phone, receive conflicting answers, and still be left without medication when it matters most. Patients deserve better. Families deserve better. I have new insurance and My specialty Rx has switch to Accredo. I provided the pharmacy with my new insurance information and they are telling me that it can take 10-15 business days to get in their system. This means that I will be without medication (that I take daily) for at least 2 weeks. This is so outrageous! When it works it works, but it never works. Not only have I spent hours on the phone with this unfortunate organization wrestling with them to do the one thing they're here to do: take money and send medication, they need me to fix their messes. I started receiving text messages stating they can't fill my prescription and I need to call. So I call and the guy says they CAN fill the prescription. Ok... then why did I get those messages? He says they just can't fill the prescription via text message. Text messages worked for a while but not anymore. Why not? And why does the website where I'm to manage my amount also say I can't have my medication? Well to figure that out I have to call another team and work with them to fix it. Wait, what?? I have to help you fix your systems?? I have spent HOURS of my life dealing with you to get you to just send me my medication or live up to the promises you've made. Now I have to fix your broken system? Hell no! YOU FIX IT ON YOUR OWN. I have no more time for you. Do your job. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Accredo Pharmacy is completely unreliable and dishonest. My medication is due 6/18, and I was just told I won't be getting it on time because they claim a prior authorization is needed even though they already filled this same medication for me in January. To make it worse, the first rep I spoke to was rude and claimed they had been trying to contact both me and my doctor "multiple times since April." That's a lie, I haven't received a single call, voicemail, email, push notification or anything. After hours on the phone, I finally got through to a supervisor who confirmed that the prior auth on file is valid until 1/2026 and that no new one is needed. The supervisor also admitted that no one has been trying to contact me since April, meaning the original rep just flat-out lied. Reading other reviews, it's clear this is a pattern: delays, misinformation, and zero accountability. If your job forces you to use this pharmacy, I'd honestly consider finding a new career! I am now on month three of not have my daily biologic medication due to Accredo's insanely long processing time for changes. It used to be a good service and I had no issues until I switched insurances due to my job switching it automatically this year. Everytime I get on the phone I spend usually half an hour to an hour trying to figure out why it is taking so long for them to receive the prescription my doctor had sent over three times. Hopefully it gets cleared up but imagine the suffering someone who depends on their meds would have to endure with this being the norm. The rest of the reviews speak for themselves. If I could leave zero stars I would. Accredo is the worst specialty pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They keep you on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes and when they get on the phone they are useless. I waited for more than 2 weeks to get a prescription that they were never able to verify because they failed to communicate that they use a contracted fertility pharmacy. I was at risk of running out of medication so thankfully my doctor gave me meds to make sure I didnt miss a dose. Once I tried canceling my refill (that was taking more than 2 weeks) they kept me on hold for 20 minutes just to cancel my refill order. They will waste your time and are not helpful at all. If you can avoid using them I would highly recommend going elsewhere. If you are trying to get fertility medications they contract through Fredom Fertility. Save yourself the time and headache and go to them directly. read more

NOT SAFE! a company that manages specialty medication, but does not manage them safely! First, it took over 2 weeks to figure out and receive my medication. the Accredo team knows it delivers through mail but they have absolutely no idea on how it will deliver or any part in the shipping process. they had absolutely no clue if it will go in my mailbox, diver to my door, or even be handed to me. They told me I would receive text updates, never did! it was late! Biggest issue, is nothing on my box of medication mentions this is medication and can only be stored in room temperature. My box was left outside in the cold below 15degree weather. Who knows how it's been stored throughout the shipping proces, which has been handled through UPS. I absolutely hate having to use Accredo. It's a sin that they are the only company my insurance forces me to use. I have entered my co pay assistance number multiple times. I have told it to the representatives I have spoken to multiple times, I have entered into the app multiple times. I now I have $700 bill with them, which I have called and spoken to 4 different representatives about all of which said it would be taken care and yet it remains on account. I have to call every month because for some reason my Rx keeps getting placed on hold. Then I can't make a quick call because they have to read their scripts which is so repetitive, no call has been under 20 minutes. If you want your child to suffer or die use this pharmacy, they will make sure they delay as long as they can to fill 1 single prescription...let that sink in, they will take days and weeks to fill just 1 prescription, even after prior authorization is completed, multiple phone calls. If you can, do whatever you can do in your power to 100% avoid this pharmacy. They could care less if patients suffer. Accredo has worked ok for me for years until the recent takeover. Now I wait for 10 minutes to reach the team to refill my medication. Unfortunately they delayed authorizing my new insurance for two weeks and that was after calling them twice to let them know I was missing my weekly doses because of their delay. I was really scared to start working with Accredo based on these reviews but it's been 6 months now and I've only received great service. I've never waited on hold more than a few minutes and any issues regarding insurance/my copay assistance program has been resolved quickly. My medication always arrives on time and they are on top of sending updates and reminding me when its time to refill. I didn't have a choice about using Accredo and almost considered asking my doctor to explore other options because of the reviews. I'm so glad I gave them a chance.
