I cannot even put in to words how disgusted I am with this location. I have used Walgreens since I was a child and have recently been in a car accident which requires me to routinely get medications. I had used the app (as I always do) to pick up my antidepressant on Feb. 9th. I continued to check and the order stated stating it had been received. I attempted to call, no answer. I called again a few days later, was put on hold and the ended. Today, I finally got to speak to hands down, the most inconsiderate employee I have ever encountered when working with any business. I obviously called regarding my prescription pending. The employee immediately stated "you have no prescription here and you have never picked up from here." I explained that I had it on my app, I verified the correct address with him, and also provided the RX # for my ANTIDEPRESSANT that was supposed to be ready on Feb 9th (see image below). He looked up the RX, verified the prescription and stated it was not at his store. I then asked for the store it states that it is at so I could call them and he said he does not know which store it is at that it only gives the store number. He only knew what his store number was. There's no way of looking that up? He said no. I work in customer service, I work in management, I have to handle phone calls daily. I understand that sometimes complex situations occur (my app is showing your location and you are seeing different). However, being that I obviously NEED this medication, he could not give me any assistance? I know he could, because I called the location on Canada road and they will have the prescription ready in an hour. Now I will drive 30 minutes to get my prescription because this man at Union could not assist me. What a joke. read more

Walgreens - the order status of the purchase - Drugstores Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

I never leave reviews but I am not happy with this Walgreens location. My Dr. called in a RX at 11:30am, I called at 12:30pm to see if it was ready, was put on hold for 45 minutes because they were "at lunch". Then my mom went to pick it up for me and they were "at lunch" an hour later. She went back at 2pm and she waited 30 min for them to tell her that they never received the prescription. She saw 4 of the employees standing around doing nothing. My Dr. called in the RX again and 30 minutes later the RX isn't showing up in the Walgreens app and Walgreens won't answer the phone. Will never use this Walgreens again. read more

This place doesn't deserve even one star but that is not an option. They mess up every prescription I try to get there. I get voicemails, texts and emails telling me my Rx is ready, I wait in line for a ridiculous amount of time only to be told they have NO prescriptions ready for me! And it's not just me-last night, the woman in front of me had the same problem. I just switched everything to CVS in Target. No lines, no mistakes, friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. read more

This location's service is terrible. I called in regarding some prescribed eye drops that I needed before surgery. They were out of 2 of them and were going to call other locations and call me back. I waited 3 hours and called them back. They hung up 4 times and when I did get through, I got put on hold and got disconnected. Go to CVS. read more

The staff is actually friendly and will help you if you need to find something. The pharmacy is fantastic, I absolutely love those ladies, they are so helpful. Only reason it got 3 stars was because the place is filthy and you cannot go in or out without people aggressively begging for money. I said no once and the piece of shit actually scratched my car. Since I didn't want to sue him for his 1995 velcro keds he just got away with it. Just be careful and the place should do a better job patrolling outside. read more

I can only echo the other reviewers frustration with this Walgreens' staff. They will put you on hold forever and eventually, sometimes, disconnect. When I say they put you on hold forever, I mean for sure more than 20-30 min. They always say they are short-staffed and too busy. I hope someone higher up at Walgreens' would look into what is going on with this branch. It is frustrating and unacceptable to say the least. read more

This Walgreens is cursed. I gave it two stars only because the staff is friendly, and the hex can't be their fault. I know it's cursed because people outside always need money from me. Sometimes they run out of gas. Sometimes they need bus fare because they lost their wallets or purses. One guy asked for $40 so he could get a room for the night. I told him I too wanted to get away from it all, but instead I was buying my sick toddler some Ibuprofen. He was not impressed. The bad luck occurs day and night around this Walgreens, so obviously there is a powerful and evil spell affecting all who pass by. The security guard does his best, but he's only one man. Today, for example, he had to deal with a homeless guy who insisted on laying near the doorway until someone called an ambulance. I'm not sure what was wrong, but it's probably voodoo-related. Inside, the witchery continues. At the pharmacy, furious customers yell for someone to refill expired prescriptions (against explicit doctor's orders). The staff spend twenty minutes explaining why that will never, ever happen. The other customers in line field text messages from angry spouses wondering why a quick pharmacy run is taking so long. Think the front register is any easier? Nope. Chances are you'll spend your evening watching someone pay in coins for a suitcase of Budweiser.* But please don't take my review as a slight against the staff. They deserve sainthood for what they put with. I hope the head honchos of Walgreens wake up every morning and thank God they have people who tolerate working in Cthulhu's hovel for the damned and ill-favored. I'd rather chew tacks. *Wait. If you have to hit up a Walgreens in the Midtown location, this is your place. They have a security guard on duty, so the pan handler situation is under control. You don't have to worry about being followed around the aisles by someone begging for a coke like the one a couple blocks down at Union & McLean. It's also much cleaner than the location at Cleveland & Poplar. Aside from those details, it is your typical Walgreens. So grab a box- or five who's judging?- of the dollar Lemon Heads and Boston Baked Beans in the bin near the cash register and have a grand ol' time. Walgreens it up, yo! read more

Worst pharmacy staff EVERRRRRR! Lost my prescription after I had my surgery. Told me I had to wait 1 hr for my meds at 12:30, so my husband goes 5 hrs later and they can't find my prescription, then they say they think they found them. So I call from the house to speak to them to make sure they have all my meds. They place my on hold for 13 MINUTES, while in between they answer and ask if I can be placed on hold and I keep saying no but they ignore me and put me back on hold. So I had to call and speak to the manager so he could get them on the phone. Then they act like I just dropped them off. RUDE! read more

I hit this Walgreens a great deal in the evening time. The cashier could talk to customers more like the managers.

This is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever had to use. Almost every time I have to go in to get medication, it isn't filled. I want to be clear, I will be told the medication will be ready on a certain day at a certain time. I wait until the next day to get it... and it is still not filled. I want to warn anyone who is forced to go to this pharmacy to try and get your scripts mailed to you or go to a different pharmacy. Even if it is not a convenient location, it still has got to be better than this place. The only saving grace is that the staff is always courteous and nice. read more

It's walgreens. You have your typical Walgreens fare and your typical Memphis security detail. Nothing too special to review, except that this place is really well staffed to handle the amount of foot traffic they get on a regular basis. read more
