I requested that the service person investigate why I was getting so much lint on my clothes in the dryer. He gave me a quote which seemed reasonable, so I booked the service. Loi Nghiem came; he couldn't find anything wrong. He said he could give me 10 dollars off the 90 dollar service call if I paid cash. He also cleaned underneath my stove (40 dollars- a discount of 30, he said). He refused to give me a receipt because he gave me a discount. I am reporting him to the cra and consumer ripoffs. Obviously, he is not claiming the money on his taxes. What a jerk. It is illegal to not provide a receipt when a customer requests one. read more

We booked an appointment that matched both our schedules even though he offered to come sooner! Loi was on time... a bit early! The snow and roads did not delay him as much as it did me! He promptly identified the pump that failed in my washer and had a replacement in his vehicle. Took him a few minutes and the deed was done! He left me the parts to verify the work (thank you!) I appreciated his care and cleaning up making the work look effortless (and I know it wasn't!). He had to make some electrical connections for the replacement pump and it was working on no time! We have had Loi and his wife come out to fix a few of our appliances over the years and many of our friends have used him as well. He is always on time, reasonably priced, fixes things quick and if he can't fix it, he'll tell you to buy a new appliance. I'd rather him tell us to buy a new appliance, than tell us he can fix it and spend a bunch of money, and it doesn't solve the problem in the end. He's honest, reliable and does a great job! Our dryer stopped working and I gave Loi a call based on the many five star reviews. He showed up the next day, diagnosed the problem quickly, and was able to fix the dryer (replace heating element and two of the rollers) in under an hour. He was very efficient, but also took the time to explain what he needed to do at the beginning so it was clear what he'd be doing and the cost. His charges were also very reasonably priced. Called this company for a repair on my 6 year old fridge - all food items were freezing in the main section of the fridge. He arrived 45 minutes late. He put a large piece of tin foil around a cooling section of the fridge that he thought was causing the problem. How stupid does he think I am! As if a piece of tin foil would do the job!!! Additionally he mentioned I should purchase a new $2000.00 fridge if the tin foil "bandage" did not do the job. 4 hrs after he left the same freezing problem occurred. What a waste of my money. I since called a company with a reliable service technician who has the training and knowledge to repair it properly. Therefore I cannot recommend this company. read more

We have used this company before and are always happy with the results. I called Saturday about a broken 12 year old dishwasher and we determined it was not able to be fixed. The technician told me that they install dishwashers and the price was less than the appliance store quoted. We were able to find an in stock dishwasher on Sunday and bring it home. Monday AM I called to schedule an install and they were able to come within an hour. The install was done quickly and we now have a new working dishwasher! I called Accurate Appliance Services because my old whirlpool duet washer got the F11 error (apparently very common and known issue with whirlpool). I tried the web to see if I could fix it myself, tried re-setting it, all to no avail. I stumbled on this company and after reading the reviews, called and let him know what the problem was. They came on a Sunday, no extra fees, replaced the faulty part and I was up and running again in an hour. The repair took 1/2 hour but they remained on site to make sure the cycle finished properly. Loi was fast, efficient and had the parts on hand to fix our dryer within 60 mins. He is affordable and saved us a lot of money by not having to buy a new apartment washer/dryer. The problem was the tumbler bearings were completely worn out and our heater coil was bust. Hence why it wouldn't turn on. It works like new now. Don't be put off by his direct and to the point mannerism. He wastes no time with niceties but is still polite. He literally asks you the problem and books a time. Then when he arrived he went straight to work. He did ask us to clean up the dirt and lint that was left behind from the dryer. But honestly with how affordable and efficient he was I was totally happy to sweep up some dust. Especially if it saved us from replacing the unit. read more

This morning my nearly new, but out of warranty dryer started making a grinding noise that changed in pitch and intensity. The manufacture's recommended service company's wait time was 10 days. I read the reviews for all the appliance service companies on here and selected Accurate Appliance Services I'm glad I did, Loi (Lou) came out within a couple of hours and discovered the problem was a shifted blower housing rubbing on the drum. Excellent service start to finish! We contacted Loi to come fix our leaking washing machine. He was able to come fix it within 2 days and was the cheapest quote I obtained. All the other places charged extra for weekend premiums, or charged 2 hour minimums, or took ages to return our calls, or required an "assessment" before they would come back another day to fix it, etc etc etc. THEN I CALLED LOI! Loi knew his stuff and was able to get down to business and not waste time. He was fair and easy to deal with. Our washer was back up and running in no time! Based on the high ratings of this company, we contacted Accurate Appliance Service to repair our Bosch dishwasher that was leaking water on the floor. Loi arrived on time and replaced the water valve. He also noticed a couple of holes in the drain hose. Since he didn't have a replacement hose with him, he told us that he would have to order the part which could take some time. We phoned him the next day and he told us that he had the part and could do the repair, which he did. So far, so good. Our main concern is Loi's attitude about repairing our dishwasher. He constantly complained that the model of dishwasher that we have is hard for him to fix and that we should not have purchased it. He must have said so 8-10 times. :( Also, when he came to finish the job, he noticed that the insulation around the dishwasher was wet. It needed to be dried before he could put it back together. He made it very clear that he would not be returning to put the dishwasher back together after the insulation dried. He left it in pieces and charged us $231.00 for the repair. Consequently, we had to hire another appliance repair technician to put the dishwasher back together for another $220.00. Bosch Appliances recommended George of Priority Appliances. He did a great job with a pleasant attitude the whole time. :) If you need a Bosch appliance repaired, contact George at Priority Appliances 780-499-4988. Bosch recently awarded George for top technician in North America! Call Priority Appliances! Loi just left my home. I called him 2 hours ago, took him about 1 hour to fix my fridge of 21 years. The fan was gone in the freezer and the water line was plugged. He did an amazing job, so fast and accurate. He owns this business and is a one man team, for 30 years. When you work for yourself I think you care more about your reputation. Bigger companies also have techs that sometimes are new at the game and don't do as good a job. I highly recommend Loi, he was very reasonable as well!!!! read more

I was very happy with the service. Loi came out within a couple hours of my calling and went right to work. He worked very efficiently and was able to disassemble my whirlpool dryer, locate the problem, replace the broken part, and reassemble it in half an hour. His rate was a little lower than the ones that Whirlpool would have sent - and they couldn't come until next week.
