Firstly, I came in on a Friday around 9:20am and the owner mentioned my suit jacket and white button down would be ready by 3pm. They don't wash on Saturdays, but the desk is open to pick up clothing items. I had a wildly busy Friday, so this Saturday pickup option was awesome for me. Right in time to head up to the Met in New York! The owner(s) I think are a really sweet couple, and it's apparent that they get good business from how full their (excuse my pleb vocabulary) laundry rack(?) is. People only usually think to leave reviews when they've had either a wildly negative or wildly positive experience, so I thought I'd leave this as your everyday review. Overall: suit jacket came out perfectly, button down came out perfectly, everything was timely, owners were kind, what more can I say? The price for both was $21 including tax, I have no idea if that's good or bad because it's the first time I've done dry cleaning, but I'll definitely be back. Peace and love

I have to give my dad the credit though, considering he gets pretty much his entire wardrobe dry-cleaned there. Dress pants, dress shirts, golf shorts, regular shorts, dress shorts, golf shirts, polo shirts, sweaters, ties - and maybe more. As such, I get something akin to the royal dry cleaning treatment, the owners always thanking me for coming in, assuring me my clothes would be ready as soon as possible, and telling me how "your father is a good man - very nice, a very good customer." But for those toying around with different dry cleaners in the area - with or without celebrity status, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Just about everything has been ready the next day, is clean, crisp, and I can't remember a time where something came back dirty, stained, lost, or somehow shrunken. I've also used their tailoring services - back when I was a sophomore in college (circa 2005) when Abercrombie & Fitch jeans were all the rage - I found myself at the mercy of the mom that though 32" was too long for jeans and "didn't want them to rip" on the bottom despite the fact they were already distressed in the first place. [I am just a fraction over 5'11" but at the time I was probably 5'10"] so the very cool, very naturally distressed pants became much more straight and much more...unlikely to touch the ground. They did their best to make them a little "rough around the edges" (per my request) so it didn't look like I had them tailored. They came out fine and I wore them for years, so +1 for Buckland. So, go here. Get things cleaned and/or tailored. Become a celebrity.

They are extremely clean and all the attendants are very friendly. I have noticed that all their machines are always working so I never have to wait. They have plenty of seating and folding tables. I have also dry cleaned my delicates and their prices and turn around time is excellent. I tried their drop off service after my family and I went on vacation and I dropped off in the morning and picked up early afternoon with no problems. This really made my day. Soooo Friday I call to check the status, the same attendant began to tell me that the girl didn't show up because she was sick and could I pick up the clothes on Saturday. This was unacceptable! We have no clothes to wear. I told him what are you going to do for me because I'm paying for a service that has not been done. He says nothing just come on Saturday. Ok No! What time do you close? He told me soon. It was 3:30 pm and my ticket said 6:00. So if I didn't call and showed up at 6:00. Wow! Can you say pissed the f off! So, I leave and get there to my amazement to see the clothes in the dryers. He explains the girl was here but she left and to just pick them up on Saturday again. So much so, that I was here almost 3 times a week, spending hundreds of dollars within the past two months. Until I brought my vintage Cashmere coat in. A simple black vintage Cashmere coat. Which got ruined. When I got my coat home and took off the wrapping, I was aghast! It looked horrible. There were bad creases in all the wrong places; there was a sheen like that of using a hot iron on a fabric that you shouldn't iron. The arms were shrunk, the tag was shredded. Gone was the luxurious Cashmere look; it looked like it went through the washer! How did they ever let my coat go out the door in this condition? The next morning, I returned to Hourglass Cleaners with my coat, looking for answers. The first person I dealt with was nice and listened and admitted that it actually looked like it had been washed. He then got who I assumed was "the owner?" who looked at it, quickly pressed the shawl collar and wanted to hand it off to me???? Had he admitted what was obvious and apologized and offered a refund, that would have been the end of it and I would have returned. A mistake is a mistake. But no....he repeatedly blamed it on MY COAT! He kept alleging it was due to its age and turned it inside out to show me the lining and blame the lining! He blamed everything but took no responsibility for the damage done. If the age of my coat was such a concern, why wasn't I alerted to that before it was cleaned? They had cleaned another vintage Cashmere coat last year and it came out beautifully. I explained this and how I was a loyal customer. He looked at me with a blank, hateful stare. I was getting nowhere. He only wanted to argue with me and blame the damage on the age my coat. In the end, I got a refund on my cleaning cost for the coat and $20 for the coat itself. There was nothing left to say. I am still stunned. What awful customer service. What a shame. Just terrible.

My laundry dry time is about 30m. At other places, sometimes it takes FOREVER. I guess it's because they take great care of their machines. All of this plus card readers on the machines make my laundry trips SO much quicker than before. Staff is super friendly too, and I've used their wash and fold service in a pinch. 10/10 recommend. Decent price. They really take care of your laundry like it's their own. I travel out of my way to come here because it's truly the best laundromat I've ever been to.
