    DO NOT USE CRITTER CONTROL!!…read more We contacted Critter Control to remove bird nests from 3 roof vents. They charged $99 for an estimate - this should be the first sign of a scam. The job requires climbing a ladder, removing 2-3 bird nests, and putting a screen on the back to prevent it happening in the future. I'm thinking maybe $200. They came back with a quote for $1,315!! They also put in a $45/month subscription for quarterly visits for pest control. We should have read the reviews first as we definitely would not have contacted them. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

They came out to take a look at it and told us they didn't see any live mice or bats, but that we should seal up the house just in case. We did this and then were still hearing the noise and they ignored this until we got a video of a raccoon in our basement that we shared with them. They then told us it would be $695 to catch the raccoon, which we continued with because they seemed helpful. WRONG! They then quoted us $500 for another solution for the outside deck, but then billed us 1/2 down for $2,500! We called to cancel this service and they told us that it was actually $695 PER WEEK to catch the raccoon even though they hadn't caught it or seen it on video. Within hours of us getting our own cameras, we located the raccoon and within one night of another person coming out, they caught the raccoon. Critter Control did nothing but sell us things we didn't need and waste our time instead of getting us a real solution. DO NOT USE THEM!

Even with a lack of communication, it should be understood that this home is MINE, and does not belong to your inspectors. They are not entitled to come in my home any time just because they were hired by buyers. I did not appreciate that he had no respect for PRIVATE PROPERTY. The inspector allowed the buyers to bring a group of family members in four separate cars into my home. They treated my house like a public facility--using my personal toiletries, towels, and bathrooms without permission. I did not appreciate that no one was told to STAY IN THEIR CAR. How many onlookers does your staff need in an inspection??? I did not appreciate the said unwanted family members scraping their boots on the sidewalk before entering MY CLEAN HOME as if the home was already theirs and they could come and go as they pleased. They were obviously not helping the inspector with anything, they were just at my home to relax and invade my privacy. Most alarmingly, I discovered at 7:00 PM that my refrigerator/freezer had been shut off at the breaker. This level of carelessness could have resulted in significant property damage / food loss. When I was finally able to read the end result inspection list to my home buyers, it was noted that 2 breakers in the kitchen were not working, The inspector, Mark, shut the BREAKER OFF TO THE WHOLE KITCHEN, then requested that a licensed electrician come and fix them. I AM AN ELECTRICIAN. Wow ! Is this how you drive away home buyers ??? With stupidity? I am a licensed IBEW electrician. Would I honestly live here 11 yrs with broken outlets ??? And I really did not appreciate the inspector, Mark Ballge, allowing his clients, the buyers, and added family members, who did NOT OWN MY HOME, to come in and make themselves comfortable, forcing and wasting another extra hour of time into MY heavy schedule. They were not invited by ME into MY HOME and I should have been warned about this set up thru my realtor. Once again, they should have BEEN TOLD TO LEAVE. You have hired DISRESPECTFUL AND INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES; disrespectful to HOME OWNERS, incompetent to home buyers, and I would never use your service or recommend it.

    I hired Spring Green for Turf services for weed control, and 2 applications have been applied…read more After the 2nd application the burn spots became more visible. Not just spots, but streaks all along my property which is about a half-acre or so. That didn't happen after the first or last year after I had turf treatments! I voiced my concerns and they seem to only want to communicate via text message which was the first red flag. I will say that those correspondences were polite but filled a bunch of scripted rebuttals. I was asked to send pictures which I did. I was given analogies about lawns getting sick like us getting colds. When I said that my lawn has never been diseased before, I was then told, "well, just because you never had bronchitis, doesn't mean you won't get it"? It's very hard to capture an entire property in grainy photos. NO ONE ever mentioned my lawn being diseased after the first OR second application but could tell by dull photos? I requested someone to come out and see if in fact my grass is "diseased" as the rep said. Nope, just text messaging with answers to a few pictures that didn't show all of the issues. I have had 2 separate Turf companies come out to look at my property. Without name dropping, I was told by one of them that my property looks to have application error and/or chemical burn. The other company suggested a completely different treatment without herbicides as there was too much going on with the lawn at this point. My professional landscaper also said that this isn't "disease" as much as it is chemically burnt. After gathering info, trying to have an open mind, I sent a final text to Spring Green requesting a call to schedule a visit to my home within 24 hours because that is what good Customer Service is and the right thing to do. I really wanted to hear what they thought, in person. They did do that. Well, what happened next was FAR more abhorrent than the lawn at this point. Even IF the burn spots were not because of their chemicals or applications, the GM, Tristan was ABSOLUTELY the rudest, most condescending individual I have ever come in across in my life. Within the first 5 seconds, I knew how this conversation was going to go. He was defensive right off the bat and said "Ok, what I am looking at?" Not in the inquisitive way, in a gaslighting tone. Everything was about me being wrong, the other companies being wrong, him accusing the other professionals of being "uneducated" within their field answering my questions with questions. I tried to explain to him that one of the turf guys has been in business for a very long time and started to accuse me of ageism against him. He sounded like he wanted to argue. Totally f****** BIZARRE. I don't how you show up to someone's home with such a shit attitude. The utter cockiness he displayed was revolting and mind blowing to the point of me asking him to leave. He did not at the first request and kept talking. Honestly, by that time I yelled "Get the F*** off of my property". I said it again, then he started walking to his vehicle and merely said, "I'm out, I'm out". All of this is SO unnecessary. I am sure they do a nice job ordinarily and they do also have nice reviews but now, this isn't about the actual lawn, me writing this review is because of him and his absolutely unacceptable attitude. He seriously could have had an altogether different approach, but I see in other reviews that this is just how this company rolls with concerned customers at times? Just wondering how he treats Male homeowners? If you don't mind being talked down to like you are an idiot, then use this company. If you do not want to be treated like complete shit, stay away. I'll get my lawn fixed, but you can't fix disgusting behavior, I guess.
