All unknown issues that were uncovered during the project were addressed promptly with what I thought were fair estimates to resolve those issues. Towne Fire and Water Restoration does not work for its customers…read more I hired what I thought was a reputable plumber to fix a leaky washer valve. The plumber botched the job resulting in water leaking into a wall. The plumber contacted Towne, stating that they "work together regularly." Towne deemed that two walls needed to be demolished and rebuilt, involving a bathroom where a toilet and two sinks would have to be removed and reset. A Towne estimator came to my home and would not answer my questions, stating that he could not discuss them for "legal reasons." Fast forwarding, I ended up trying to reach Towne several times with no response. Finally, a scope of work was emailed to me. As I studied it, there was no mention of the restoration of my plumbing. The plumbing work was omitted from the paperwork! I FINALLY got an answer from Towne. Towne was working with the incompetent plumber, planning to have that plumber return to my home to do the restoration work!! That was never discussed with me. Why would I have the at-fault plumber return to my home to do more work? Clearly, Towne was not working for me but for the plumber! I was also asked to sign a Work Authorization prior to meeting with a project manager! I had a third party assess the wall. This impartial party quickly advised me that demolition is NOT necessary. Shame on Towne for its unprofessionalism and deceit.

We had some pipes that we didn't know were leaking into our wall and it created a ton of black mold in our basement. Insurance wouldn't cover it since it happened gradually over time instead of one incident we could pin point. We were referred to Towne Restoration and when we called, they got me connected with Russ right away. Every time anyone of them came to our house, they called letting us know they were on their way, and what their plans for the day were. They went over what we wanted and tailored what they were doing to suit our needs and cost. They touched base often and we never had to wonder what was going on or when they would show up. Mold is gone, I feel like I can breathe in my house again. Great company and group of guys to work with!

HomeWorks Restoration did a new roof for us back in 2019. We have been trying to get Mr Brown back…read morehere to "FIX" what his crew did to our roof. The ridge beam is less than half the size it should be, the rafters were cut at the wrong angle, some don't even touch the ridge beam, none of the rafters are connected properly, thus the roof as it is pushes outward on the north and south walls of our home and is causing the ceilings to cave in, doors do not close properly, crown molding is pulling away from the ceilings, huge cracks in ceilings and on some walls, and they didn't remove all the debris from attic even though they had to tear off the entire roof and everything was exposed. They also re-installed gutters that have failed thus causing us to have all new fascia put in along with all new gutters. Adam Brown, owner of HomeWorks, has refused to answer our engineer's report we paid to have done, so I'm assuming he KNOWS his crew did shotty work and he doesn't want to correct any of it. Our lawsuit against Adam Brown and HomeWorks Restoration should put an end to his business practices, at least I hope it does!! Please, do not use this business.
