My daughter completed the lecture portion of her driver's education course on November 21, 2025. As of today, April 2, 2026, we have been unable to schedule the remaining driving lessons required to complete the program, despite payment being made in full and upfront. Students are required to log on every Friday after 6:00 PM to attempt to book a single lesson at a time. We have only been able to secure two lessons -- both of which required us to continuously refresh the company's webpage for up to an hour before a slot appeared. One of those lessons had to be canceled due to illness, leaving four lessons still outstanding. Since, we have been completely unable to secure any availability whatsoever. This scheduling system -- which restricts students to booking only one lesson per week and makes availability impossible to access -- is grossly inadequate and, at worst, deliberately deceptive. The chronic lack of availability is a strong indicator that this company is knowingly enrolling more students than it has the capacity to serve. This constitutes a failure to deliver contracted services. Compounding this issue, we have been entirely unable to reach anyone at the company by phone. Numerous voicemails have been left with no response. The complete lack of customer communication, combined with the inaccessible scheduling system, reflects a pattern of negligent and potentially fraudulent business practices. My daughter's learner's permit will expire before she is able to complete this course through Safe By Choice Driving, forcing us to enroll in another driving school at additional expense -- despite having already paid this company in full. Found numerous complaints from other customers describing identical experiences. Not an isolated incident but rather a systemic and ongoing practice

After that I took the road test and passed it in the first attempt. My experience with the driving instructor has been fantastic. Especially, considering the fact that I never drove a car before. Ms. Rani Nathan, my driving instructor taught me well the procedures of operating the car and driving in different conditions and prepared me well for the test. She is supportive, patient and has excellent knowledge about all MVA rules and policies which helped me take the test with confidence. The classroom sessions prepared me well for the challenge of driving on the road and the driving lessons got me up to speed so that I can now drive with more confidence. Also, the driving school conducts the Behind the Wheel sessions within a month of the 30 hr driver education program which helps to complete the program quickly. Her patience and guidance with my daughter (first time behind the wheel) has been greatly appreciated. The two of them really connected in that collegial "girlfriends" kinda way so it was enjoyable and less stressful for all. The course consisted of three successive 2 hour lessons. The first Saturday was 1.5 hours riding around FedEx Field in an empty lot just to get comfortable behind the wheel. Thirty minutes were spent prior with overview/inspection of the vehicle, mirrors, general road rules, etc. Second Saturday. On the road. Two hours of mostly secondary roads throughout PG County. Mr. Jones and Ms. Lita are the best, they're both really funny instructors that give constructive criticism without making you feel unintelligent . It turns out that me and another guy in my class scheduled our driving test on the same day around the same time and on the day of the test, both of us were the only ones that passed our test out of the other teenagers on the course (you can watch other drivers while waiting in line for your turn). My twin sister also went here and she passed her test the first time, too. You won't regret learning at Beltway!
