I cannot rate this group of doctors high enough. They have helped me through countless physical injuries and emotional moments. They have cared for both my babies since they were born and I can't imagine not having this resource in my life. People always say this really stupid thing about chiropractors, "well it's a scam you have to keep going". Like yeah, you have to keep going to the doctor, to yoga, to the dentist, to anyone that helps maintain your health, you have to keep going, same with the chiropractor. Every time I visit my son in Novato I always visit and get adjusted here. Shoes are to be taken off as you enter the premises to keep floor clean for babies who crawl the play area. Staff are very professional and friendly. My son and his whole family has a membership here and gets to get seen regularly for adjustments for wellness care. This place is absolutely 5 stars and will make you feel like a 5-star human! I started chiropractic care here at around 37 weeks pregnant (hoping to turn a breech baby which was accomplished) and I wish I had been doing it my entire life! My lower back, which has been ailing me for years ESPECIALLY while pregnant, feels the best it's ever been! All the doctors are incredible. The cost is much more reasonable than I had anticipated. I love that you can schedule adjustments online through MINDBODY or simply walk in. I have a crazy almost two-year-old boy who is easily entertained and distracted in their kids play area, which is very helpful. The parking in downtown Petaluma isn't optimal, but it hasn't been bad, and it's a lovely place to take a stroll or grab a bite to eat after an adjustment. read more

I checked out their website before visiting, loving the family/individual plans, walk in ability and the ease of accessing their location (free parking garage nearby). After my first consultation that lasted about 20 mins, I was sold on how the adjustments could truly help me and my family. After the first couple adjustments I felt more relief than I ever imagined. I had no idea how misaligned I was (and continue to be) due to work, kids, and daily workouts. My spouse and I also appreciate how knowledgeable the doctors are, pinpointing his vertebrae that's been contributing to stomach issues, noticing my shoulder seemed misaligned and even that my first rib was raising (Something my physical therapist told me about too). The kids are adjusted too, smaller minor movements. They seem to be excited to "Go to Acorn". Previously, I was diagnosed with disk degeneration and slippage that caused high shoulder pain, restricting of my neck being able to turn, and weakness. The help I've received here ultimately helps me avoid surgery. It's helped with my workouts and get energy back. The fact that this place does walk ins and you can book on the mind body app, is truly amazing. The fact that there are seven(ish) doctors in and around with their own techniques is nice for the variation. I honestly look forward to coming here. read more

I woke up with a stiff neck on the wrong day, travel day! I have a red-eye flight from SFO to JFK at 10pm. I noticed a lot of neck pain when I was rolling around trying to fall asleep the night before I saw Dr. Matt. That morning my neck was so weak and stiff I couldn't even move. I literally had my fiancé hold my head for support as I moved from laying to sitting on the bed. I was in 10/10 pain. We rushed to a CVS to buy any type of topical patch, cream, and ointment (yes I bought all 3) they had which did give some relief. I called into Acorn Chiro Club at 9am when they opened and got a same day appointment with Dr. Matt at 10:45. When I arrived Dr. Matt was there to help me. We went in for the initial consultation, then got to work. Right away Dr. Matt already knew what was wrong. He turned my neck, and pop-pop... I already felt better. As I was leaving, Dr. Matt said to come back at 2:45 to see if I was able to handle a little more treatment. A complementary visit, he said. After my second visit that day I was confident enough to be able to travel the 5.5 hours to New York. Dr. Matt did not need to see me again, but he cares for his patients. Update, Its been around a year ever since I started this health journey & Ive been trying to go 2-3 times a week per their recommendations. Their monthly membership also makes it more affordable to go as many times as needed for the treatments, otherwise each treatment is 45$ if i'm not mistaken. I have definitely noticed that my lower back pain has subsided immensely. Standing at work for long hours has been less painful & I always look forward to my next appointment. So far I have been treated/adjusted by pretty much any of the staff available & I will say they all have their techniques & ways but all wonderful at what they do. My personal favorite is the ones that put more force & pressure into the adjustment like Dr. Matt & Rosie cause It makes me feel better afterwards for some reason. But again, I love the treatments cause it has made my life easier & I love how the local community feels at home when they are treated. Every time I go there are usually families with children & the lobby is always busy clearly cause everyone loves them. I highly recommend coming here. I was experiencing extreme upper back and neck pain that was leading to near constant migraines. I was also suffering from horrible TMJ. No physical therapy, stretching or exercise seemed to help. I now experience significantly less neck pain and almost no upper back pain. My migraines and TMJ have also completely stopped. I think the membership option is awesome and makes it afford to come in for regular adjustments. I like to try to get in anywhere from 1-3 times per week. I also sleep SO much better after getting adjusted. Dr. Kurt, Dr. Andrea, and Dr. Naomi and all the chiropractors are always so sweet, gentle, and amazing. This chiro office is pretty neat and offers a system unlike any other that I have experienced. They are very "new age" with their approach. Online features: they offer a lot of services online such as booking your appointments and checking for availability. Quite unique to book your chiro appt without ever calling the office. Walk-in option: aside from booking an appt, you also have the choice to just walk in and wait for your turn. This is yet another unique feature of this office. While I prefer to make an appt and be served immediately, it is nice to know that if you can't get an appt at the last minute that you can just walk in and wait. Membership options: rather than pay for each visit (which is only $45), you have the option to sign up for a monthly service. The fee is based upon frequency but the overall savings are large if you want to visit their office once a week. I thought that this was a neat feature because if you like to see the chiro frequently, you don't have to worry about a big expense. Overall, the cost is very reasonable. Staff: everyone was very nice, accommodating, and professional. Location: I visited the Petaluma office. Very convenient location. I saw Dr. Marie today and she was fantastic! I have only ever been to a chiropractor once in my life and was nervous about this visit. I messed up my Lower back pretty bad and have been hobbling around and was worried this might not be the right treatment for me. This clinic works like a well oiled machine. After an intake and an explanation about how it works (first payment about $200, then $100 per month for following months, with 15 visits per month) I had my first adjustment. I think I've seen almost every practitioner thus far, all are caring and professional. When one checks in, on the simple to use computer, one can chose a particular practitioner or "any available" which makes it easy to get an adjustment within minutes. I always wondered why chiropractic was so expensive, but Acorn has crafted an affordable, no time wasted practice. I will talk this place up to everyone I know. They helped me more in two weeks than my doctor or PT specialist did in 4 months. I was suffering from a few different issues that compounded together had completely crippled my life. I couldn't twist, bend, or even pick up 5lbs with freezing in pain. Now I do simple things like get in and out of my car, sleep for more than 40 min at a time, sit on a couch and more without the need of drugs, patches, and ice packs. In terms of affordable adjustments, I think the price is reasonable relative to $80/adj or more at other offices; hence the membership strategy. But in terms of managing back pain, I didn't get any feedback or "treatment" plan from Dr. Matt, other than "come in for frequent adj, sign up for membership etc etc," I didn't even get any advice on posture/strength for ongoing mgmt, so I'm a bit disappointed. If you have pain issues, I didn't think they had any plan. but for the regular person with no actual active pain, I suppose its an affordable club. read more

My back was killing me! They saved my back! I had been having a chronic lower back pain for the last three weeks and nothing seemed to be making any significant progress. I tried neuromuscular therapy which helped a lot but did not have the type of impact I was looking for. I came in to acorn chiropractic and was lucky enough to work with Dr. jen who was able to really narrow down what my issues were and what she could do to help. I have never gon to a chiropractor before and I had always been a little skeptical of what to expect, however, I was pleasantly surprised. At the end of the chiropractic session my lower back pain had a reduced by approximately 70 to 80%. I felt so awesome after getting this adjustment that I gave Dr. John a hug because this is the best I have felt in weeks. Thank you so much! I will definitely be coming back! I had only been to heavy-handed chiropractors in the past and because if that, I had always viewed it necessary evil than an enjoyable experience - a place to go when I was all messed up. I'm the first to admit that I didn't see a need, nor did I have a desire, for ongoing chiropractic care. That all changed when I was introduced to Acorn! But first, the backstory... My wife was pregnant and so we attended birthing classes to get up to speed on what to expect and how best to prepare. During a class we were introduced to the 'Webster technique' which is designed to help pregnant women prepare for childbirth - since we were having a natural childbirth, we agreed that anything that helped this process would be of great benefit! (Don't you like how I say 'we', as if I was anything more than a glorified cheerleader while my wife did all the work?). So, we found Acorn because Jen specializes in Webster (in addition to everything else she can do). It was a perfect match and she not only helped my wife prepare her body, but even came to our house before and after labor - and even adjusted our baby after she was born! During this I was won over by Dr. Matt, who is like the Obe-wan Kenobi of chiropractors - teaching you to better yourself as much as helping to realign your body for optimal efficiency and performance. Over the course of a few months I've had less pain and more mobility and I didn't even realize I needed it. Acorn is super family-oriented, which is another reason why I love them. As a new dad I was plugged into a local network of like-minded families - and that is also 100% awesome sauce. I see Dr. Hannah when I go in and am never disappointed. She has amazing hands and makes sure to take her time with you so that you leave feeling good! After having been to other chiropractic care treatment centers, I can firmly say that this one is the best. The only downside is they gave me a shpeel about their plans the very first thing, but it doesn't really matter because you don't have to actually choose anything and their care is so damn good. You can choose who you want to work on you, so if you feel akin to anyone there, just keep getting them. What makes their physical care so good though? As far as I can tell, they utilize newer techniques that are simple and highly effective. Best chiropractic office ever! All the docs are great -- I mostly see Dr Andra & Dr Rosie, both of whom I love. I've been seeing chiropractors for 30 + years and this is, by far, the best clinic anywhere! Their regular business hours -- every weekday, all day, till 6 pm make it super easy to get in and their totally affordable monthly rate for unlimited visits make weekly chiropractic totally affordable. The office is super sweet because they work on infants and children and every single chiropractor there is outstanding. I'm so glad that I moved to Petaluma and found this great clinic!
