One of several Charity shops at the top end of the Hawthorn Road, just near where it meets the Kingstanding Road. My parents have a shop nearby so I'm often over in Kingstanding popping in for a visit. When I do, I generally find the time to have a quick mooch around the Charity shops in the area. As with most charity shops, there is a huge element of pot luck, and regular visits only increase your chances of finding a bargain, or really striking gold. This particular shop is quite small, no more than 3 metres square, and is well-stocked, so feels very cramped indeed. That said, Acorns is a popular charity around Birmingham, so you will be supporting a good cause if you do find something. read more
