We were looking for a primary care physician that could continue my check-ups every three months and renew prescriptions for me on a monthly basis. As newlyweds we also needed someone to help us find the type of birth control that would be right for us. After having a friend tell me they had to wait three months just to get a new patient appointment with the local hospital/physician group, I knew there had to be a better way. Also, I'm a self-employed CPA and use a Health-share program rather than health insurance. Before moving to Florida, I would spend roughly $100 every 3 months for a check-up to get my prescriptions for the next three months renewed and another $30 per month for the prescription itself (with no insurance). I did NOT want to wait 3 months to go to a hospital, be charged an arm and a leg for a quick 15-minute check-up, and for my wife and me to have to see two different doctors on two different days. I had done research on Direct Primary Care before and decided to do a quick Google search for providers in the area. I came across Fort Myers DPC and really liked what I saw. After a searching a little more it became clear that we were going to go with Fort Myers DPC. We signed up as new patients on the website and chose Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez as our physician, and let me tell you how glad we are that we did! We enrolled as new patients on a Thursday, Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez called me the next day and my wife and I went to see her in her office the following Monday. I cannot tell you how great our experience was. Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez is SO nice, caring, professional, and amazing. No part of the visit ever felt rushed and my wife and I both left feeling cared for, listened to, and educated. The prescription that normally would've taken months for me to get renewed took me 4 days and Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez was able to explain the pros and cons of different forms of birth control to my wife like no one else could so she could make an informed decision. There have been many occasions after that where we text Dr. Gonzalez any time during the day and she is so quick to respond. For instance, last night while going to the pharmacy, I realized I had given Dr. Gonzalez the wrong address and the pharmacy the prescription was sent to wasn't taking any new patients due to a shortage. I have a feeling that if we would've gone through the local hospital/physician group, it would've taken another few days or weeks to get everything fixed; but with Dr. Gonzalez, I texted her at 6:45 PM letting her know the problem and she was able to fix everything and transfer the prescription to the right pharmacy in less than 30 minutes so I could have it filled that same night. I'm telling you folks, doesn't matter who you are, whether you have health insurance, no health insurance, or are using a Health-share program, Fort Myers DPC is the place for you. We've been in to see Dr. Gonzalez three times in the past few weeks and always leave feeling SO glad and lucky we decided to choose her as our Primary Care physician. Last thing I'll say, my father is a Pediatric Radiologist in North Carolina and I grew up feeling like I was always being taken care of by family the few times I had to go to the hospital or outpatient facility as a kid. I feel the exact same way every time my wife and I go see Dr. Gonzalez or send her a text. TL;DR: Fort Myers DPC and Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez are the best. You should go see them :)

I have attended both offices here and they are both horrible. Doctor refuses to refill scripts, entered false and bias statements in my permanent records (several attempts with office manager and Badami (she has lied numerous times) and refuses to correct my records. All are required to sign a lifetime authorization for payments and only take Medicare insurance. No one listens to the patient, they have their own rules. They require patients to come into the office EVERY MONTH!! All they are doing is sucking insurance DRY. They also want you to stop seeing any other doctors that are NOT in the network web. BUT, their specialists are not in the building. You are offered a "pen pal" physician who is in another city. You tell the local doctor your ailments, they tell their "specialists", doctor gets info and then tells you next time you're in. Some of the tests Badami has done are inappropriate for the results needed and wasted time and charges for Medicare. They do not answer the phones. I called 3 times last week in a row and you can hear them re click the hold button and after a few minutes an automated voice states "there is no one to take your call right now, thanks for calling" and hangs up. I immediately called from another number....on the 2nd ring a real person answered and I left multiple messages for a call back from Alex (manager) who I have been attempting to work with about my false records. No response after several MONTHS. They don't even offer a patient portal. The disrespect, frustration, and aggravation have taken a toll on my health. I am not sending false information to anyone. I didn't want to leave the one star rating but there's no -0- option. I am to the point of hiring an attorney. SPEAK UP IF YOU ARE BEING WRONGED!!

I also suffer from (PTSD, ANXIETY, and Depression. ) [The last 15 years I lost my best friend, my career, both sons, about 2 years apart, and my wife from a heart attack.] However, he saw my depression as a third, the other 2/3 pain and sleep. YEA, what ever phamplet he read I fit it perfectly and need little pain meds. From my craniotomy I still suffer dehabilitating headaches. I literally pass-out from them. I was on the, fearsome, fentanyl for over 10 years. I lost that Dr. and had to substitute aspirin and vodka for about 8 months. No withdrawal symptoms. I know Fentanyl and opioids. I lived it. He read about it and proceeded to tell me if he had reviewed my case he would have not seen me but since I came in he would be gratuitous and prescribe minimal morphine. NOTE: I Was Referred. This means he gets extra $$ to review my case BEFORE I get there. I don't need condescending, narrow sited, arrogant, ignorant Doctors. He may try a nice deameanor but don't be fooled. STAY AWAY. We won't get better doctors until we say NO to the ones playing it safe, at the expense of their patients. I have the cure for constant pain. and daily extreme headaches, and Depression (not caused by a cloudy day). I only have 10 - 12 years natural life span anyway. TRUTH
