I feel they have ZERO compassion for their clients and have no sympathy for what married couples are going through in the difficult process of Divorce. Her predatory behavior and complete lack of ethics during a severe medical crisis have left me financially devastated. ​1. Bait-and-Switch "Flat Fee" Deception ​She advertised herself as a Flat Fee attorney. At the start, she explicitly told me, "The beauty of a flat fee is that even if we go to court, it won't cost more than $20,000." However, after I was forced to fire her, her accounting statement revealed she secretly billed me at $450/hour. I paid $20,000 before we even reached mediation, while my ex-spouse's attorney fees totaled only $7,000. Because I was on unpaid medical leave, in extreme pain, and spending hours doing her paperwork with limited hand mobility, I didn't realize the extent of the financial exploitation until it was too late. ​2. Extreme Negligence and Court No-Show ​3.5 Hours Late: She completely missed the start of my Temporary Protective Order (TPO) hearing because she overslept. ​Case Compromised: Her absence infuriated the judge and deeply compromised my case!! ​Zero Accountability: Her negligence added an extra $3,500 to my costs. She refused to issue a refund and actually blamed me for her being late. ​3. Exploitation of a Critically Ill Client ​Throughout this ordeal, I was only 12 weeks post-op from life-saving surgery.
