I got what I wanted and went to the check out. After at least one minute the cashier put down her phone. I tried to explain my experience to her and she said her job was to get customer's in and out. As I said I'm handicapped, could I get help caring out my purchase she also gave me a very strange look. I paid for what I got and told her that I would NEVER be back she laughed. Four of went in together, and one of the young ladies that was with us, had a book bag purse, they told her upon us entering the store, that all book bags and large packages must be left at the door. She advised it was her purse, and they insisted that she leave it with them. Prices were average, no better or worse than you would pay somewhere else. While, I wouldn't call the staff super friendly, they were helpful and had good knowlege of their layout and where brands were located and were helpful in helping us get our haul of liquor up to the counter. I was surprised that no one in our group was carded for ID, as two of the four of us are just over 22 years of age, so maybe they figured those two twenty somethings would have just had us two forty somethings buy their liquor if they were underage. But not anything I'd just HAVE to order again. My husband got a Medium Well Ribeye, collards, and creamed potatoes. He said the steak was a HIT:tender and flavorful. No complaints. He enjoyed the collards, and potatoes, as well. I had Lemon Herb half Chicken, Broccoli, and Creamed potatoes. The chicken, and lemon sauce were AMAZING! The chicken seemed brined, baked low and slow, so good. The broccoli tasted steamed and seasoned nicely. I'm not a fan of the potatoes. While they had great flavor, even without the lemon sauce; it was the texture. They were too loose. I prefer a thicker creamed/mashed potato. This establishment gets five stars, because customer service was exceptional, they go out of their way to give you a fine dining experience, and the food was overall fantastic! I no longer live here, but it's easy to see that it is so much a local bar scene where everyone knows everyone.
