Every time I head bk to Haubstadt, I make sure to go to Bob's Gym, I dont even visit all my family each time I'm in the area and certainly no other establishment each and ever time I come back. So, it might be fair to say this spot is my favorite in all of Southern Indiana, period. Given that I've never been a gym rat or super into working out in public, that seems like a crazy sentence for me to state, but this place has a lot more than originally meets the eye (and especially the name, I really think the name made me think at first the place would just be a room with a few weights and dumbbells, but it's an-all-in-one workout, spaday, and rejuvenation center if you take advantage of all its perks! First of all, the Hydro massage chairs...are worth the whole membership. 10 minutes of absolute heaven and relaxation. And since they're never full, you can just ask the person working up front (real late most nights one guy is a total hottie too, but I don't get creepy and ogle him, unless he ever says he's okay with that, then of course I will, but that's just a potential extra, I do come here to work out...and the hydro chairs). It's open 24/7, which rules for a night owl like me! Do you know how awesome it is to have a whole swimming pool to yourself at 2 in the morning? Only 2nd to those hydro chairs in rejuvenation and relaxation-building time. There's plenty of equipment. I do use that too. You can take cool classes like Pound (I like to think of it like "Stomp," but with well, pounding drumsticks and stuff instead of stomping barrels and stuff. You can also buy smoothies and even cute goodies with the logo and such. I might write more later tonight, or sometime past midnight to get that pool to myself again.

I started with an Orange Elite membership (8 classes/ month) and by January switched to Orange Premier (Unlimited) because I was loving it so much. After 8 months of membership, I'm still loving it -- and the increased endurance and strength that goes along with coming 3-4x/ week (!! 100+ classes!!) My fitness journey has included CrossFit style workouts, rowing, yoga, running, and group fitness and that knowledge base was helpful but no means necessary. The coaches are amazing and are there to help with form and encouragement. The EVV OTF staff is so welcoming and the members are great too. There are a few different styles of classes - 2G, 3G, and Lift45 -- with 3G being the primary offering. There seems to always some sort of challenge happening - monthly or in-class with DriTri, Hell Week, and Orange Inferno included. InBody scans to learn more about your body comp are included with some class packages. Sign-ups are done through the app and once you get into a cadence find is class is never a problem. Your membership works at all OTF studios in the US and the HR monitor can be used outside of class too, if that's your thing. The gym is never sanitized making it a unsafe environment for people to work out, weights are never organized and all over the place, machines are horrible, and it smells like shit. Please don't join this gym!!! To add to all of this, the pictures on their website they use to lure people to sign up are 5 years old and looks nothing like how it is now. Very clear they no longer care about quality of their business, only the money. They promise a in house massage, chef, and a whole bunch of others on their storefront sign, they do not have those in the gym. False promotion, horrible policies to keep you stuck and paying, horrible management and horrible environment.

The place is beautiful, clean, customer friendly and inclusive. The decor is great and well done and is fun to explore. The gym is well equipped and clean. There also offer a Salon and they recently started renting U-Haul for their customers in the local community. The owners have pulled out all stops to make a very pleasant environment and offer a useful list of services for it's customer base. Check them out for yourselves and see what all the buzz is about!

The locker rooms are near the pool and there are some lockers outside of the locker room for access by a family/ if you wanted to share a locker with someone. The app is the easy one-stop-shop for most info (including weather delays/ impacts), although the web has some info and printed schedules are available. The facility is clean and, with COVID precautions, temps are taken at the door and masks are required except when strenuous workout is happening (overall folks working out are choosing not to wear a mask) and social distancing is mostly available. I've personally enjoyed the convenience of the location, that the price allows both me and my s/o to enjoy the gym, always having parking, and times of classes -- at this time some classes require you to sign-up ahead (which I like for accountability and scheduling).
