Angel Island can arrange for the pizza to be delivered, but they charge a fee, and it's pretty easy to just walk over there and grab the pizza yourself :) There's plenty of stuff for the kids to do, like play in the ball pit, jump on the sticky wall with a Velcro suit, or go on the merry-go-round. The party room was pretty barebones but it got the job done. I will say that my son developed influenza B about one day after his party, but I'm not 100% sure he caught it at Angel Island since that's a pretty short (but not unheard of) incubation period. I will say it didn't seem like the cleanest venue and there were tons of kids running around, but who knows :) Overall, my kid had a good time and I think it's a pretty decent choice for a birthday party.

We came here at a 3pm on a Monday afternoon and there was maybe one or two other guests playing there. It was a quiet start. Even with the uptick in guests later on, the employees were consistently cleaning up after the children and putting toys back to where they had originally been. It's $12 per kid with adult and $4 per additional adult guest. They don't currently offer membership options but they do have discounted Open Play package plans available: 4 play sessions for $44, 8 play sessions for $84, or 16 sessions for $156. They are designed for children aged 6 months up to 6 years. I absolutely loved the music they played which can best be described as low-fi and chill vibes all around. Just as an example, El Michels Affair- C.R.E.A.M. I can honestly say that this is the first time I've heard music sampling Wu-Tang at a kids play place but I ain't mad about it. There are classes on Mondays and Fridays for the "older kids" aged 3-6. The room looked super cool. They start off with a circle time style stories and songs then move off to the (baby) gated area with multiple sensory play experiences set up on tables. They've got a "calm room" complete with sensory sequined pillow and other touch opportunities, puzzles, books, glitter tubes, and noice cancelling headphones for kids feeling overwhelmed or needing to decompress. There is a variety of robots/toy cars/bugs on shelves on the left hand wall for kids to play with in the quiet (calm) room. The 2 bugs are the only ones that are not remote control operated and can be played with in the main play area. Ask an employee for help and they will unlock the cabinet and provide you with the remote control and instructions for how to operate these toys. They've got wi-fi, classes, so much fun stuff everywhere, and a food and drink area that offers kid snacks for purchase as well as complimentary coffee and tea for the adults! Amazing. Everything about the Wonder Lab is so thoughtfully designed. It is such a cozy and fun and welcoming place and you can really see and feel the effort put into the play space. They have carefully and creatively designed areas for the children to explore. I was impressed that some of them are designed for the 5-year-old + crowd to create things to make them work, such as a movable pipe system to create paths for balls to go through. There were so many hands-on activities for the kids. A grocery store, pizza parlor, Postal Service, and Medical Center, are all designed to let the kids pretend to their heart's content. Kids seemed to love the transportation area, will full-size police car, fire truck, mail truck, EMS, and my personal favorite - the NASCAR race cars. The final area we visited (my son-in-law knew to make it the last thing) was the waterworks play area. Very clever water activities for all the kids and wisely placed dryers to dry wet hands (maybe some shirts as well!) Since it was December and chilly we didn't explore the huge outdoor activity area. Brenner Children's Museum, and they are always such a treat! It's so much fun to explore the exhibits without kids around and enjoy the playful, creative atmosphere. The museum was the first children's museum in the Triad and still features some of its original exhibits -- including the iconic big red chair, which is a total photo favorite! During regular hours, the museum is perfect for kids ages 0-12, with hands-on learning and interactive play spaces that spark curiosity and imagination. But my personal favorite -- the Neptune Climber XXL -- is definitely for all ages! It's an amazing structure that brings out everyone's inner child. I mean it is 2 stories high. The staff is friendly, the events are well-organized, and the museum continues to be a special part of Greensboro. Whether you're bringing little ones or attending an adult night, this place never fails to bring smiles and good memories.
