During construction, we had a substantial leak and since hand-over, a further 3 leaks have been identified. SA Quality Home Improvements have failed to reimburse our expense to rectify the defects resulting from their sub-standard workmanship. SA Quality Home Improvements construction manager refuses to return our phone calls or reply to our emails. Needless to say, we have not and will not use SA Quality Home Improvements again as the values and principles you would expect from a reputable business are non-existent. I was able to go down to the shops and do my food shopping while waiting for the machines to finish. The dryers and washers are super efficient and huge. I was able to do my weekly washing and drying in under an hour thanks to the triple load washers and dryers! This place is perfect for everyone from singles to the busy family.

I felt comfortable as soon as I entered. This isn't a big glossy store with salespeople out the front and workman hidden out the back. It's a small space with three staff working behind a glass petition and a few pieces on sale in the display cabinets. I had a number of pieces but ended up only getting two pieces repaired this time - I had a battery replaced and links taken out of my grandma's Rado watch and a fine gold bracelet soldered. $35 all up and I got a text a week later saying they were ready for collection. They talked me through why some pieces weren't worth repairing unless they had sentimental value (labour far repair far exceeded value of piece). I'm holding onto those until I have extra funds. They also advertise as using non toxic environmentally friendly products which is great as it won't affect the ground or our bodies. When you think about it even by washing our clothes and bedding at home, it depends on the detergent used and how our skin reacts to it. Those with allergies and sensitive skin are only too aware of the affects and possible dangers it can cause for them. Karl Chehade also has a display rack with items for sale such as leather and suede protection sprays and polishes, lint brushes, garment bags, etc. Prices for their services vary depending on the size of curtains and fabric, so it's best to bring them in if you can for a quote. Great dry cleaners and in a handy location, plus turn around time is reasonable.

I…read morewon't go into the story of how my housemate found out about his services (they shared a taxi once when she was drunk) but anyhow we gave him a call to come out and have a look at a couple of dodgy looking spots on our living room floor just after we had moved into our rental property. He came in with all the gear but after telling us the marks on the floor were slight burns and would not come out, he didn't even charge us a consultation fee. He also gave us a complimentary bottle of carpet cleaning spray and instructions of how to use it to keep our carpets spick and span. We are looking to move out of our rental property soon and will definitely be calling him for our carpet cleaning needs before the real estate agents caste their beady eyes on them.
