It's my first time working with Nicole and I WOULD NOT recommend working with her regarding…read morecryptocurrency related taxes. She only thinks about herself's business and how to make money from you. My husband found her online and told me she is good with very high rating on Yelp, now I know the high rating on Yelp is the paid marketing - some high reviews are fake customers. We asked her to file our 2017 taxes. It came out that we have to pay a large amount to IRS, but she did not think from the customer stand-point, she did not ask us questions like "Do you have any other deductibles that could potentially reduce your Fed tax?" She only told us how much we owe Fed and State, and then gave us an invoice and told us when to pay. So we went back to our original accountant for a second opinion, and that accountant asked us other deductibles that we forgot to report, she was able to work with us and list other deductibles we found. I appreciated the way she helped us, even it is a small amount. But I felt being supported and helped. We told Nicole politely that we will not file from her but we will pay her time. And she just gave us a ~$600 bill without giving us the breakdown of the cost. That is totally unreasonable. So I asked Nicole politely if she could explain the cost if we did not file from her, and Nicole came back with a very harsh email. That was the longest email she has ever written to us. She would be willing be spend more time writing a harsh email, rather than thinking on the client side about how to help them and provide a better service. We paid her ~$600 with very bad experience, harsh and threatening words (like "lie", "theft of services") and wrong judgment ("self-prepared taxes in 2016" - in fact, we filed our 2016 taxes from our old accountant). The only reason we originally wanted to hire Nicole was that we had bitcoin investment in 2017 and we need someone who can understand bitcoin. So we paid a premium for that. But it turned out a very bad experience. And we had to go back to our old accountant to handle the rest for us. Think twice before you hire her. You want an accountant who can help you, not an accountant only think about how to make money from you, and send you harsh and threatening emails if you have any concerns. This is the worst service that I've got in my life!!!

Incredible! Nicole was, by far, the most helpful and patient person I've ever worked with. Unfortunately, I had never invested before, and the tax ramifications ended up being complex and a total nightmare for me. Thankfully, Nicole was able to provide solid advice to me and assist me in amending my return so that all of my crypto trades were accounted for and transparent. Now, I'm completely out of crypto, and the tax documentation is finally behind me. Thank you, Nicole. You were an absolute lifesaver!!

As first-time homebuyers, we learned pretty quickly just how much people wanted to take advantage…read moreof young adults in the real estate marketplace. Here we were trying to make our first solid investment as soon-to-be husband and wife, and our happy pre-wedding months were spent in not-so-happy ways: being haggled by mortgage brokers, insulted by corrupt real estate agents, and taken advantage of by contractors bidding for work. We battled nonstop for 3 months on the purchase of a single-family home in Easton. The white picket fence dream was not the storybook tale we had always pictured and we knew we needed a teammate who would advise us with honesty and respect. Just because we had never purchased a home before, didn't mean we weren't educated, qualified and capable. We were! But most people surrounding the homebuying process didn't care about that; they only cared about getting the biggest bottom line possible. Margaret Murray was both that necessary teammate and teacher for us. She guided us through the lending process step-by-step, defended us, and became genuinely interested in our overall financial success. She saw the potential of our fresh careers, appreciated that we were buying a home we would have to put some hard work into, and respected our questions: even when we needed her to explain her answers multiple times over. When you think about it, you want a lender to be invested in your whole financial package because when they take care of you, you ultimately will bring them more positive business. Margaret gets that. The Bank of Easton will be all the more successful because of her. We know we will be bringing them our business in the future. Margaret helped us far beyond the scope of her job description and, because of her commitment, to say we trust her would be an understatement. We value the friend and confidant we have found in Margaret. You cannot put a price on the peace of mind we found in working with her and the Bank of Easton. She returned all documents and communications with incredible speed and attention to detail and ultimately got us in the door of our fixer-upper dream home the weekend of July 4th: a true independence day for all of us. The closing was actually bittersweet in that we would now not have to call and email Margaret everyday. So we do still check-in from time to time. We send her pictures of the updates we make to the home and stop by her office anytime we deposit into our checking account. How many other banks could you say that about? Oh, and did I mention the entire branch clapped when we signed the last official page at the closing? We are thrilled to have been welcomed to Easton as a part of the Bank of Easton family, and look forward to raising our own in the home they helped us purchase. Thank you all!

While I was recommended to someone at the that specific bank and inquired about the employee, the girl at the teller gave me quite a nasty look and implied that she had no idea who I was talking about (while the personnel I was inquiring about was out that day). This bank missed out on a good customer, too bad its too much effort to put potential customers first for the girls at this bank.
