If I could give this place 10 STARS, I would! Following a 20 year career in the military, my spine and body has been put through a lot. Dr. Caratozzolo, and his wonderful, always pleasant staff, have been treating me for my back problem since December 2020. My husband and I just moved here from Hawaii then. The treatments of adjustments, stim and massage have been helping my back to loosen up, and be more flexible. I am a gym rat, I workout with weights, do floor exercises, bands are also included, cables, and aerobics for two to two and a half hours a week, five times a week. WOW...The staff is OUTSTANDING. Always very positive and up beat, they always greet you with a smile, and they are always pleasant. As for Dr. C, I don't know if I have the words. Miracle hands come to mind. For many, many years I had this pain on the right side of my neck. When it got really bad I would get headaches. Those would be followed by me taking medicine. When I started my appointments with Dr. C it was less then 2 months and the pain in my neck was gone as were the headaches. I so wish I had gone to see Dr. C sooner. When I first started to experience back pain, i was very skeptical about Chiropractic care, after speaking to and being a patient at Act wellness, "Dr. C" rested my concerns quickly. He is so passionate about his practice/ profession and he is a wealth of knowledge. When I first started i had a million questions for him... not only did he answer them but he exceeded my expectations with his responses and i continued to learn more. I made it a point that every time I would go I would ask him hard questions and he always took the time to explain the WHY, hows, and the history. Not only does he take the time to explain everything but he has free seminars that explain what is Chiropractic care, the importance and he give you exercises to help you maintain great health. the staff and "Dr. C" at Act Wellness is extremely friendly and pleasant to be around (even at 6:45pm at night) and his facility only host only best high tech equipment, that read every part of your back.. and is extremely extremely clean. I had injured myself doing gymnastics when I was in school, but had never gotten around to really doing anything about it, because I figured that I was tough. You know- cool teenager stuff. Anyway by the time I hit 30, I couldn't stay on my feel for any length of time and had chronic lower back pain. I attended a class about chiropractic (for free, might I add) that Dr. C gave, and asked if he could help me, with really not so much hope that he could. To my joy, he has helped me and I can be on my feet all day without pain. I sleep better at night- something that I did not realize was related. He has also helped my children overcome injuries that they have sustained by being typical very active boys, and my daughter by doing gymnastics- something I thought I'd not let them do, due to the chronic pain I had obtained doing the same. It is a great relief to me that I can help my kids get better if they hurt themselves. They do not need to endure years of chronic pain if they are injured, so I feel a lot better about letting them do sports activities such as soccer and gymnastics. (I'd been in pain since my 7th grade injury, so you could understand my reticence.) I have definitely been converted to a fan of chiropractic. Dr. C is thorough, answers questions, his office is very clean, and is a pleasant environment. They even go so far as to have loaner umbrellas when it rains! read more
