Thank Goodness I found this outstanding chiropractor! Chris works to make a plan, and helped me feel better without the sense I had to go forever. I go in occasionally If I tweak my back. He always accomplishes imprivements while being gentle and thorough. He and his staff are polite and respectful as they administer ultrasound, heat, electro-stim as needed, and,ultimately adjustment with biofreeze or CBD (just tried today) as needed. I am so happy I find an amazing chiropractor and massage therapist close to my home in Lorton! I originally came to Dr. Virusky due to essentially all over back pain from a home renovation project and he got me back to my normal within less than a week and we had follow up sessions as a precaution. He also gave me plenty of ideas and stretches to do at home for preventative care, which I greatly appreciate. After my back was in a better place, I decided to try a massage with Lorraine and it did not disappoint. It was extremely relaxing, addressed my trouble area, and I immediately booked a follow-on monthly massage. I used their website to send a request for an appointment and they called me back soon after. I didn't expect a call so quickly because the info said that they were not open until 3:30. I've known Dr. Virusky for about 20 years and he has been and will continue to be my only chiropractor. I came to see him initially when I was a freshman in college with terrible headaches and a sore back. Lorainne provides an excellent massage and I've been going to her for years. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. The treatment area is always cleaning and soothing. The treatment room feels like you're in a spa, not a chiropractic office. My daughter also visited and writes: Carla was wonderful and so attentive to my needs. I am faced with mental health struggles and she was so understanding. She asked if I had any triggers or struggles with being touched. She calmed my anxiety instantly. She also asked about treatment level, aromatherapy, oils, etc. She explained what she was going to do and gave me cues in a very relaxing voice. The treatment room was dimmed and had relaxing music. Her aromatherapy was wonderful and didn't overpower the massage. She let me relax for a little after the massage to relax and never rushed me. I will definetly go back to Carla. read more

Called about hip pain after running and they were quick to see me (same day). They previously treated my son when he injured his back improperly lifting weights at school. I've been to alot of chiropractors over the years. Generally, once your symptoms have been resolved they try and convince you to keep coming a couple times a month to prevent your symptoms from returning. I never took this advice and never really had any recurrence of my symptoms. The chiropractor at this office is the first one that did not try to convince me of the need to continue seeing him prophylactically forever. Once my problem was resolved he told me that I did not need to come back unless my discomfort returned. He also taught me a bunch of excercises that he said would help prevent the return of my problem and thus prevent the need for further visits. I found him to be very gentle and probably the most honest and nice chiropractor I have been to. I did not feel that I was merely a source of future income to him. For that reason I will return, if I ever have the need for a chiropractor again, and that is why I give him five stars. I owe my dentist many thanks for refering me to this office. He said he uses this office also and that was good enough for me. On another note they have late hours a couple days a week which is nice. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Virusky for about 2 months and he is amazing! I have TMJ and was involved in a car accident a few years ago. For about 2 years I was getting constant headaches. I tried everything including: numerous Dr visits, massage therapy, and other chiropractors. The only person who has helped my headaches has been Dr Virusky. I had previous seen a chiropractor who convinced me to buy a very expensive package so that I could come in once a week and each time I left his office very sore. Dr Virusky's goal is to fix the problem and then spread out your appointments as tolerated by your body. He gave me a few simple exercises that I do on my own and now I only go as needed. I purchased a 60-min prenatal massage voucher for FFX station chiropractic and was not disappointed. The office looks new and is always clean. The actual massage room is dimmed, lit with candles and relaxing music plays in the background. My masseuse was Lorraine and she was excellent. Upon my first visit, I completed a patient intake form and Lorraine went over my information. She hit all my sore spots with the right amount of strong pressure. I've seen several different massage therapists in the past and can definitely say Lorraine is really good at what she does. She used the entire 60-minutes and made sure I was relaxed. I have been a patient of Dr. Virusky for the last few years and have been nothing but 100% satisfied with how he assessed my issue and set me on a path to recovery. He is very flexible with his schedule; his staff is very personable and helpful with working with me to get an appointment that works with my crazy schedule. He takes the time to listen to any issues/inquiries I have; he never makes me feel like he is rushing me to get to his next appointment. He spaces out his appointments appropriately; he has always been prompt with my appointments to the point that I hardly have time to look at my smartphone for more than a few minutes, if that, before he comes into the room to attend to me. He answers all my inquiries thoroughly and professionally and is very personable and easy to chat with about my issues. I have also had a few massages at the office, as well, and I have been very satisfied with the massages I have received. I had a lower back issue for about 2 years to the point that I could not lay on my back for more than a minute without being in pain and not able to stand up; I would have to roll over on my stomach and take a few minutes to stand up. A friend of mine recommended that I see Dr. Virusky and although the first appointment was painful, since it was the initial consultation and he was assessing the pain, it was a great relief knowing that my issue was fixable. With regular office visits and the supplemental simple exercises that Dr. Virusky recommended, my visits went from 3 times a week to 2 times a week to once a week to once a month and now they are about once every 4 to 5 months for maintenance purposes only and if necessary. I was tickled pink when I was able to lay on my back after the first few weeks of office visits and not be writhing in pain after a minute! Dr. Virusky explained thoroughly every procedure he would perform on me and the reason behind its effectiveness in my progress. I was actually sad when he told me that he wanted to space out my visits; I was worried that my back might get worse with the spacing. Dr. Virusky is all about resolving a problem as efficiently as possible and not extending treatment if it is not necessary. I highly recommend Dr. Virusky for any issues anyone is having. read more

We are a military family loving on Fort Belvoir. We ordinarily use Kingstowne Chiropractic and are very happy with Dr. Luciana & Allison. However, their office was closed when I needed a same day appointment. Unfortunately, this office was unwilling to care for my 14 y/o daughter who experienced a significant lower back sport injury without charging $175. Tricare does not cover services. Our chiropractor offers military discounts and discounts for children. They were completely unwilling to do so when I asked. Very sad day when a healthcare provider staff cares more about charging the most amount of money possible than helping a military child. Further offensive, she said they don't give military discount and to family or children of active duty. Clearly, this woman has never served as an Armed Forces spouse or child because we have served and sacrificed alongside my husband for 20 years. I will not ever consider this office again nor recommend them. And I don't think military families should support a practice that doesn't support their most sacred innocence when in need. read more

Dr. Virusky's initial appointment process is somewhere between insultingly patronizing and predatory. From the second he walked in the room, it was clear he was there to make a sale, any actual treatment of pain was secondary. He walked me through a carefully constructed "evaluation", clearly designed to convince me that he and only he had my solution, while only describing any sort of diagnosis in only the vaguest, most general terms. When I asked him to describe how he intended to treat me, he was clearly evasive, offering that we'd work on "stretching" before moving on to "more care". This, of course, I could begin tomorrow - at a separate visit, for a separate fee. The sum total of my appointment? He charged me $125 for 15 minutes of his time, without demonstrating any capacity to actually fix my problem other than cheery promises. read more

This is my opinion about my massage experiences at Fairfax Station Chiropractic. The massage rooms are nicely appointed.There is piped in music but it is always the same so it gets tedious after you've been a few times After your massage: you must get up from the table quickly so that the room can be prepared for the next client who is coming in soon after your appointment ends. There's no time to enjoy your relaxed feeling or maybe stretch a little at the end of your massage. This business also could use better oversight/management. Two different massage therapists here have cheated me of 10-15 minutes on my massage. The massages here are expensive but regardless of that, I expect a full hour when I arrive on time. When I said something to the receptionist, the first time the response was "we'll talk to her" but no recognition of the fact that I paid for 1/4 of a massage I didn't get. The second time, over a year later, there was no response or follow-up. Then there was an instance where they made an accounting/billing mistake and asked me about it in a way that implied I was trying to cheat them, which was not the case since it was the fault of untrained receptionists. I've given this place a few years of business but the negatives are adding up so that I don't plan to patronize them much more if at all when there are many massage places to choose from in the area at the same or less cost and the same or better services. read more
