When my Aetna expired they didn't schedule an appointment for me. I just stoped going. Most importantly because of the care and proper attention given. The therapist were totally unprofessional. Go to that bike, and set it for five minutes. then they forget about you. Consently I had to advise them that I was done with whatever stretch I was doing. My disappointment compounded when they are taking among themselves, joking and speaking ill of another patients in front of me. I had four sessions and had to stop going for my peace of mind. By the time the day came I was so glad. I hadn't slept in weeks. Imagine my utter disappointment to get there and find out that he wasn't even there that day. There was some woman there ( I dont know who she was as she didn't bother to tell me), who took me for an x-ray. She did tell me her name and that Dr. Trocchia wasn't there. Afterwards, she didn't bother telling me the results , but told me she could give me a shot in my shoulder and that she she does it "every day." When I asked for the results of the xray, she murdered something about tendonitis. I know from previous experience that if you dont give the shot correctly it may hurt even more and/or not work. Dr. Trocchia has done my hands and shoulder and the pain has never been that bad, and it has always worked. Unfortunately, not this time, There has not been any improvement, and Im still in agony. I had the same problem with the knee doctor there, who also took 4+ weeks to fax an order for an MRI. Now I have to go to HSS to have my shoulder and hands done, just like my knee, since that never worked either. I guess Dr. Trocchia is going the way of the other doctors and letting nurses and PA's take over their patients load. Well, I always told him he worked too hard. Our loss.

When I went to check in my husband I told them I needed a wheelchair to get him from the car. They brought it out immediately. We didn't wait long to get X-rays taken. The technician was very nice. After X-rays we went to the exam room. The doctor's assistant came in and went over the X-rays with us. She performed a few tasks for my husband to do . Then Dr Emerson came in and went over the X-rays in more detail. He had my husband do a few thing. It was determined he needed to get an MRI. He gave us two options: go to the ER and get admitted or wait for the MRI appointment. We chose to wait. Dr Emerson was very patient and thorough.

The adjuster didn't want to send me to my original doctor even though he was in the system. She referred me to Dr. Kam. After reading the reviews on Yelp! I feared the worst. Boy, was I wrong! His office was very friendly and professional. Had me in for x-rays before I could finish my paperwork. After that I was escorted to an examination room where the PA saw me immediately. Next Dr. Kam came in and he was very pleasant and professional. Asked why I didn't see my original doctor and I told him the adjuster felt he was "crazy expensive." He just shook his head. Read the X-rays, examined my shoulder, and complemented the original doctor for doing a nice job. He reassured me that I had just strained a muscle. I was on my way and felt relieved! Follow up in a month to make sure I'm healing properly. So, the Doctor was great, the staff was very pleasant and the only negative thing I have to say about my experience was that the parking lot is a nightmare. And I'm very selective about who I let treat me! Five stars!
