After talking with Dr. Liu, I had an adjustment to relax my neck and back. Then came the relaxing part--lying on a spinal massage bed. When I went to see Dr. Casertano I literally couldn't walk. My leg muscles were pulled from my feet all the way up to my hamstrings, my back was totally messed up, and my neck was so stiff I couldn't turn it at all. Dr. Casertano figured out that I needed orthotics for my feet because my high arches were collapsing causing my feet to turn inward. He fitted me for custom orthotics and began my therapy which included spine adjustment and ultrasound treatment for my muscles. He told me that I will need 20 chiropractor sessions to fully recover, and he was right!!! He taught me how to adjust my form to prevent future injuries. I dawned on me that my boys' feet get tired a lot from walking and playing sports. So I brought the both of them to have their feet examined. It turns out they both have the same problem I do. They were both fitted for orthotics and have felt better as a result. A couple of weeks into baseball season, my 6 year old son started exhibiting weird behavior with his neck. It looked like a nervous tick. I took him to his pediatrician and she said that it could be transient tick that could last any where between a few months to a few years.
