I have used Active Computers on a number of occasions and have always been very happy. When my desktop was nearly destroyed by a multiple virus attack, they managed to get it working again. When the hard drive finally broke down after ten years use, they managed to restore my software and data in a new computer which worked perfectly from the beginning. In both cases, the effort involved was considerably greater than I would have expected from the minimal cost charged.
