Great group of people there, just make sure you get everything in writing. "Too many cooks in the kitchen" as some say

I am 69 years old with a fatal autoimmune disease which has weakened my immune system to the point of several organs developing cancer. I had a surgery scheduled for a masectomy on the 8th of July, on the 29th of June , I was prescribed enough medication for 15 days and told the surgeon would write a script for the rest of the month. The surgeon wrote a script which I never picked up. I had an appointment with my primary care for a scheduled checkup. While there i told him my condition. It was the 24th of July and I had not had medication for 7 days. He wrote me a script for 7 days to cover my pain till my next appointment with the pain clinic. When I saw the doctor which was 3 weeks after a masectomy and the week before radiation treatment of my lungs. She treated me like a criminal, refused to listen to what had happened as I had not received any pain medication because my primary care sent the script to my mail in pharmacy and it had not arrived. I only had 15 days of medication for 30 days. She questioned me like the gestapo, saying I signed a paper and went against rules, however never explained to me what laws I went against as I had broken no law. She walked out of the office refusing to treat me and left me sitting. I then waited and sat for 15 minutes before I stepped out and asked should I leave. I was then told yes. With no consideration for my condition. I was devastated. Mary CArter the physician was rude, uncaring and did not consider my suffering. This is no place to go with chronic lifelong pain. After he insulted me he informed me that he only gives Pain Medication to Cancer patients. That's a complete violation of my Bill of Rights as a patient. A contract that they created and signed. Where is the actual Dr of this Clinic????? Dr. Kenneth Homolya. You have NP's with obviously no Common Decency and a lack of experience violating your Patients.

I advised them of that immediately upon realizing I couldn't take it. The provider told me that she couldn't add it back because her license didnt permit it. She was supposed to get ahold of my cardiologist and have it rewritten. I called several times to find out the update and I even tried to make an appointment with the cardiologist myself. His office didnt take my insurance so I called hometown back again and and they refused to let me speak to the office manager. I went 6 weeks with no blood thinners!!! They put my life at great risk. I made another appointment with Wanda for the persons name she had seeing me and she would not write down the name for me because she knows the stroke gave me memory issues after she refused she finally said she would tell me the name of the provider that put my life at risk knowing I wouldn't remember it. This is the most unprofessional nurse practitioners I have ever encountered as Ive worked in medicine over 18 years. Wanda put her staff as way more important than the patients and I hope no one ever losses their life to the quacks.

First, the lack of cleanliness and professionalism was shocking. When my fiancé and I were taken to a room, there was a used, messy cast from a previous patient left wide open on the counter. The assistant's response was to say "oh crap," throw it in the trash can inside our room, and leave it there without sanitizing the counter or removing the waste. Second, the consultation was dismissive. I have been waiting two months with a clean break in my finger. Instead of discussing a recovery plan, the doctor tried to talk me out of surgery, asking why I even "needed" it and suggesting that some people just live with unattached bones. As a 37-year-old who uses my hands for everything, "living with it" is not an option. I felt discriminated against--perhaps due to my insurance--and felt like she was only agreeing to the procedure because I pushed for it, not because she cared about my quality of life. Finally, the wait time was ridiculous. After the doctor left, we were told someone would bring a piece of paper to finish up. We sat in that room for 45 minutes. My fiancé had to check the hallway multiple times just to see if we had been forgotten. I left the office in tears and did not go through with the surgery there. I am now seeking a second opinion from a surgeon who takes my injury and my hand functionality seriously. I would not recommend this facility if you are looking for a clean environment or a doctor who listens.

I didn't receive it so I called back to schedule and they told me they didn't have a referral. Called my Doctor for another, sent a second time. Called today , they tell me they don't have a referral, I kind of get heated, she looks again and surprise she finds it and can't schedule me until the end of September. NO ONE SHOULD GET THIS KIND OF SERVICE
