Stuart Macfarlane is very experienced in all kinds of home maintenance, especially plastering but he's also good at so many other things! He's the person you need to ring if you need wall or floor tiling done, or coving, fencing, painting and decorating, flat-pack assembly, laminate flooring - not to mention repairing our shed roof! He tackles all jobs, even small ones which most people aren't interested in, and he's quick and thorough too. We intend to call him again to do a few more jobs for us soon!

I contacted Mike Harry who promised to come back 3 times but NEVER ARRIVED despite me telling him that the purchase of my house was in jeopardy. He never responded to my last message asking him what time he would be arriving. He has also NEVER PROVIDED WARRANTY despite stating he would. I have had flat roof specialist look at it and he states that it may cost between £400 and £2300 (if it needs replacing altogether) to fix. I have now had to reduce the purchase price of my house to accommodate the cost to the new owner of repairs or replacing the roof. I also spoke to my neighbour who has told me that he had to fix some issues left on his side after Mike Harry had left!!! Please stay away from this roofer. His prices are reasonable and he appears to do a good job, cleans up etc but he will not return if there are aftercare issues.

I had wanted Mr Hurford to visit the site and would wellcome his comments but no contact has been made.The person I spoke to on the phone assured me that he would telephone me to arrange a visit but another week has gone by and still no conversation has taken place. I find this service to be very unsatisfactory and the workmanship is well below an acceptable standard. Ystalyfera
