Ms. Kim-Jin has changed my days for the better. I find her to be very attentive to nuance and diligent in following up with what we have discussed in the past. Though initially I went to see her for help with motion sickness that medication no longer helped, she shared that she felt the true root of my problems had to do with my disruptive sleep patterns. Though I have taken sleep aids for years (and, truly, remember being a child without good sleep), I no longer wake several times overnight so that I am getting much better quality sleep. Recently, I injured my back pretty severely (to the point where I thought I had a herniated disc) right before a trip and was concerned I would have to postpone my trip. I made an appointment at Mr. and Mrs. Jin's establishment, hoping they would be able to help me get well enough to go on my trip. To my surprise, just after 3 visits, my back was feeling 90% better, and I was able to enjoy my trip, with almost no discomfort on my back throughout the entire trip. I began seeing Dr. Kim in 2015 for fertility treatment. After failed infertility treatments I sought acupuncture as an holistic alternative. Throughout my treatment I was experiencing emotional, physical, and mental issues that didn't allow me to fully focus on my healing. A bit after I began experiencing marital issues. I found this acupuncture clinic through Yelp after moving to NJ. We were trying for a second baby but I had just weaned baby #1 and my hormones weren't normalizing. I had done acu plus Chinese herbal medicine for baby #1 in Manhattan and decided to do it for baby #2. I don't think we had any fertility issues, but I am older so I didn't want to drag out TTC at my age. I found that both times, the treatments seem to be much more effective when you take the herbal medicine. Other than the effectiveness of her treatment, Dr. Kim is an amazing practitioner. I knew once i walked into her cute pink hello kitty office that i was in the right hands. I visited Dr. Kim 2 days before my anticipated date that id be induced since i was already late going into labor. We went in with no prior experience. In fact, we were just looking for things to do since my husband and i were so antsy being that this was our first child and went past our anticipated due date. I walked away with a new friendship, new found confidence in alternative medicine and a deep respect for Dr.Kim. She was kind, patient and encouraging. After two days of acupuncture (even one on a day she was supposed to be closed) i went into labor on my own and delivered a calm and healthy baby girl after 15 minutes. I highly recommend Jane for Acupuncture for Infertility and Pregnancy. After trying another acupuncturist in the area and having a bad experience, I found Jane and what a difference! She was warm, wonderful and very supportive. She supported me not only with her expertise in acupuncture, but also with her kind words and almost motherly care for me. I saw her for treatments a lot during that vulnerable 1st trimester of pregnancy as well as at the very end of the pregnancy. She even helped with a previous shoulder injury that started bothering me while I was pregnant. And although I know that acupuncture is very helpful, I still get nervous and sweaty about the needles.
