She was so preoccupied about how much time this would take for me to find a bike rack downstairs due to "back to back" appointments. Why the f**k would I trust her word regarding the safety of my precious bike. After suggesting I come back another day, guilting me into "I drove here for you," and saying she called her next appointment to push to 9:40am (she did not since I was in front of her the whole time) ontop of me being desperate after a bad week, I suggested to put the bike inside her office which she agreed to. Looking back, I should've left because the purpose is to heal and how can I with this energy. And so begin the awkward convo about why I wanted acupuncture. She couldnt understand or pick up much of what I was saying due to lack of English so things I said I had to repeat or she didnt hear at all. Never go to a doctor that doesn't know your language fluently because then how are they supposed to treat you? Overall it was a quick 20-30 min acupuncture in a dark tight silent room. Shortest session I've ever had but she insisted "it's not about the time, it's about the results." Stayed on the table beyond my appointment time since she said her next appointment that she was preoccupied about "cancelled." She also mentioned right off the bat that she only accepted cash, which was not communicated when I booked the appt. The length of session was also not communicated prior. Anyways, if I had to run and go get cash, this would've been another reason she would've suggested "I come back another day." On top of that she didnt have full change so I get the vibe she was lying about the card machine not working...racism? Maybe but looking back on this, it seemed she was lying about many things and searching for any reason to not treat me. A waste of $75, but actually $77 since she didnt have enough change. Offered $2 off in next visit but I won't be returning. I would love a refund.

Nestled in a quiet (well, it was that day) neighborhood, Laura's office is actually her home. Her home is exudes peace and tranquility. It really was a lovely welcome to soothe my fears. Laura greeted us and made us feel at peace right from the start. She reviewed a general health checklist and provided great information on some of my health concerns. She also gave me helpful tips on diet based on a quick examination of my pulse and a quick look at my tongue. Amazing! As I laid down and tried to calm the nerves, she began playing soothing music and covered my eyes with a lavender scented towel. Divine! She then quickly went to work, placing needles in areas that would move my chi and help relieve some health concerns. I felt a warming sensation and energy flow to the areas where the needles were placed. It felt very strange, yet amazing at the same time. I had been suffering from a chronic headache and stress build up in my shoulders. After the session, the tension had disappeared and I felt a boost of energy. I was rear ended in December 2024 and Dr. Jill was recommended to me to help with neck, shoulder…read moreand back pain. The accident was bad enough that I was taken by ambulance to the ER. Dr. Jill was happy to take me on as a patient when she heard I had PIP but once that money ran out and the insurance stopped paying, she demanded upfront cash payments of the lump sum even though my attorney provided her a lien letter so I could still receive treatment. She wouldn't let me leave her office and threatened to call the cops if I didn't pay $2200 immediately. This is illegal medical billing practice as she didn't inform me of the cost of treatment before starting nor was she able to provide me a bill to show me how the lump sum was incurred and she discussed my treatment in the public waiting area in front of other patients. Once I paid the $2200, she gave me a bill and it showed I overpaid by $600. She wouldn't refund me the money and said she would apply it to her wife's business, Healing Handw of Hilo, which is also illegal. It took me 3 hours of disputing this in her office and she only agreed to refund me the overpayment when her wife intervened. I stopped seeing her and went to a real orthopedic doctor who sent me to get an MRI that showed I had severe injuries to my C5-C6 spine. A neurosurgeon performed surgery and I was immediately relieved of all pain. He said Dr. Jill should never have cracked my neck and spine with the injuries I had. This was also supported by my orthopedic doctor and physical therapist. Dr. Jill only sees the $$$. Her sessions were 15 minutes but she would charge for 4 different adjustments at 15 minutes each. The amount she sent to the insurance company was less than what she charged me because Hawaii law only allowed for certain billable amount to the insurance company whereas cash patients have no limits. I don't like to be negative to any local business but I believe she is a danger to our community. As a doctor, she should've made sure it was safe for me to receive chiropractor treatment (cracking my neck and back with a spinal injury) and her billing practices are illegal as well as breaking HIPPA laws. For your own safety, find a better chiropractor.

She said the company stopped making the B12 with 5L, so now the only way to get them was biying them separate, which was double the cost. After calling the company ( seeking health) and been told they have never stopped making these 2 supplements in one formula, and that was actually their best seller, I called her office to return the supplements and get my money back. Her secretary hanged up on me when I said she lied to me, and Dr Strong kicked me out of the office by email in response of my request for a refund. Ah, and when I asked the secretary what the 5L part of the supplement was, she rudely answered "Im not a doctor " What kind of customer service is this??
