I've been seeing Dr. Yan since February 2025 for my wrist tendonitis. Previously before acupuncture I've seen two orthopedic doctors, tried cortisone shots, and went through many sessions of physical therapy but none of those fixed my tendonitis flare ups. Dr. Yan's patience, expertise, and recommendations for me to do at home have really helped my wrist get much better naturally. She always listens carefully to my issues and finds different solutions to help (scalp treatment, local treatment, heat, even her treatment for my allergies opened up my sinuses completely!) I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and decided to seek acupuncture as a way to support my body during chemotherapy. Since I do not have children and my advanced maternal age (42), I decided to preserve my eggs prior to starting chemo. My initial appointments with the fertility doctor only yielded 2 mature eggs. After 3 visits and some of Dr. Zhang's herbs, the fertility doctor was able to retrieve 13 eggs and 10 mature eggs were frozen. Even the fertility doctor was in shock!
