I decided I wanted to find a good acupuncturist/chinese medical specialist to help me with endometriosis management after surgery. I have a busy schedule, and he is not only open on evenings and Saturdays, he has often worked me in at the last minute when I needed help or suddenly had a free time to go. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for treatment to begin. He listens attentively, which I find therapeutic in itself, and remembers me (who I am, what my problems are, my health history) in a way most docs have not. He applies different modalities including cupping, herbs, massage, and dietary supplements and advice as well as acupuncture. Often I am having a severe symptom and he gives me an herb which shows definite results to the positive. This place is not a spa - so if you are looking for elegance and refinement, look at other places that push expensive packages at you. I will not take away stars because his building is humble. This is a case where the dr. is not about money. I have been treated with acupuncture in spas where they did not dim the lights, they did not make sure I was warm enough, and they stuck me like a pin cushion.
