I did not wish to pursue surgical options nor was I enthusiastic about the notion of repeated steroid injections into my neck. Two months into a combination of physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy and reiki therapy I find myself significantly better off than I was with every reason to believe I will continue the path to improvement moving forward. I cannot pinpoint my health improvements to acupuncture, but it certainly is a significant factor in a positive equation of integrative therapies. Dr. Diane Kloecker had a wonderful bedside manner, was educational and informative, and applied the needles smoothly and with minimal discomfort. The environment was warm and welcoming. I would recommend her and this site for your acupuncture needs. Pricing was on the high side, but it was with the understanding that the government still considers acupuncture an experimental therapy that has no financial subsidy, and most health insurances (including my own) do not cover or support this service. It was early and I didn't think they were open yet. I opted to get the shot at my local pharmacy. The following month I was prescribed it again. This time I called all pharmacies and found out that the pharmacy in front of his office was $80 less than all the others. When I went to pick up the prescription I mentioned to the pharmacist that I couldn't believe the price difference. She went on to tell me that Dr. Chin had asked them to give that price. That they made only two dollars because of the deal, but because of Dr. Chin it was something they were willing to do. Who does that? What doctor takes the time to help his patients' not only have a child but to not go broke in the process. In this day and age I can't remember seeing a doctor that goes over and above and actually cares. This is just one example of how special Dr. Chin can be. Not to mention how successful, as we just had our son two months ago. I can't recommend him enough!
