I do not like leaving bad reviews, especially for local businesses, but I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent experience to warn anyone who goes to this business. I have never been yelled at by a business owner, and the level of aggression I received from the older woman was completely unacceptable. You can see this in their responses to negative feedback in other reviews. To personally insult my husband and I, as paying customers, is completely uncalled for and inappropriate. I went to an open house at AD Glass to see the shop and placed a custom order involving a family member's ashes and ended up also purchasing a delicate bunny item for my daughter. This was a special and sensitive moment for me, and the way it was handled has been utterly ruined. My aunt was an incredibly kind person, and her memory doesn't deserve to be associated with this treatment. Our little bunny's ear was accidentally broken and initially they offered to fix it for free. However, after my husband left a one-star review (which we stand by, given the circumstances), they refused to honor their offer. This demonstrates a shocking lack of professionalism and empathy. This business owner should not be working with the public, especially when dealing with delicate and emotional requests such as a memorial piece. I would never want anyone to go through what I experienced. I do not recommend buying anything from these people. There are other glass blowers in Central Oregon that will treat you with the kindness and respect we are used to in Bend. read more

The female owner I spoke to was rude and condescending. She claims that I was aggressive and angry, which is half right. I was angry that the woman thought it was her place to tell me how to raise my kid. I was there to conduct business, not for unsolicited parenting advice. This is NOT a kid friendly place. Been meaning to leave a review for awhile but haven't Took my mom during Mother's Day scheduled for classes to make two large vases my mom decided to make a very large drinking glass instead and they were accommodating and super knowledgeable there were delicate parts we didn't feel comfortable doing ourselves so he took over and helped out so we didn't leave with nothing because of a broken glass. They were super nice and we had a great time conversing with them and their very pretty and friendly puppy that we would occasionally sneak off to pet while the other one was busy marking their vase lol. We definitely recommend coming to take a class here they made u comfortable and it's a unique and different experience where u can learn a lot and take something home with you read more

I had emailed Aaron to setup a glass blowing class to a group of women who are crafters. We spoke back and forth via e-mail to setup the class on a specific date in March for 10 participants. I wanted to know if he could accommodate the group of 10. He did respond back and said that he could only accommodate a group of 5 at a time. I e-mailed once again to see who we could setup 2 separate sessions. I called the studio and a very rude woman answered the phone and stated that they would call me when the time was available. No return call. I then left a message on Aaron's cell phone regarding this issue. No return call. The following day, I drove down to the studio to get an answer from them. When I walked in, both the woman and Aaron were defensive and extremely rude to me. They stated that all the classes in March were full. Why didn't they say that in any of the e-mail correspondents? Why didn't they say this during the phone conversation? I do not recommend taking classes with this business. read more
