Customer service are very welcoming and helpful. I returned the car at Budapest airport and everything was clear, easy and fast. When I returned the car I told the customer service that everything was fine except that the car was dirty from the outside, I received an apology email afterwards from customer service and they deducted the price of 2 days from my receipt, I was shocked on how serious these guys are in achieving customer satisfaction. Price was very good compared to other rental companies. Will definitely rent with sixt in the future. Thank you

We walked through an inspection of the car before and after the rental with an employee. Scratches were noted on a rental agreement before our rental and upon the return, the employee said it was good. Three weeks later, we got an email that AI "picked up something" in the same area as the noted scratches upon our return. We have asked for photos (other than grainy AI images), a dated AI scan for the day we picked it up, but we have had no response other than we owe them money. Since we picked up the car at a different location than Orly, I don't believe they have a before AI image and they are trying to scam us. This is disappointing, because Sixt was recommended to us, but we will no longer be using their services.

I followed the signs to rental cars which took me to the parking garage where there was an Avis counter. The person working the counter was sooo slow. After 10-15min with one customer i finally got to her and she informed me this was only for preferred customers and told me where the normal line was. I walk upstairs to that line and it was insane. There were 2 people working a line of 30 ppl. They were taking their time with no sense of urgency. At some point a 3rd girl came and then one of the other workers left. It was horrible. I signed up for preferred service while in the line and then tried to go back to the preferred line and the girl in preferred couldn't help. They're so slow with no sense of urgency and no common sense to keep working the line when it's incredibly long. Because of this nonsense I was late to my event. I will never order from them again

I haven't driven a stick shift since the 1980s and don't want to take my chances in a foreign country when it's the first time driving here! They say I have to wait because there's one due back but it's an hour late. I've been waiting 1.5-hours and they say they have a BMW 3 Series that's automatic but it will cost me $25 a day more. When I say that it's not my fault that they don't have what I pre-booked and that they should give me the upgrade for free, he said the manager said he can't do that. This is BS! Maybe they should rent one from a competitor! Or just give me they BMW at no additional cost. It's been very frustrating to say the least. If I wasn't staying out in the French countryside, I wouldn't have even rented a car. I think I'll get a refund and book an Uber! Maybe there's a reason they are called "Budget!" I guess you get what you pay for. Usually I have 2 different rental companies booked but this time I didn't because I pre-paid through the airline I took. Never do that again either!
