This company was a nightmare to deal with and their pricing is OUTRAGEOUS. We were redoing the flooring in several rooms of our house and had Adairs out to give a quote. They were unable to answer multiple questions we had, had extremely poor follow up skills, and took forever to get a quote over. When they finally did get it over to my gf the pricing was 1/3rd higher than literally every other flooring company quote we got. As a treat to the sky high insane prices they charge they also had a longer install lead time than every other company. Thankfully we found the Good Guys / Good Guys Flooring who was a fraction of the price for the exact same flooring, installed it promptly and was a wonderful experience unlike greedy Adairs. read more

We recently had our primary bathroom renovated using Adair's Interiors and we couldn't be happier. I've never had a bathroom that felt luxurious before and this one does. This type of stuff isn't my forte, so I relied on them to propose a design with some requirements, like adding a fan and changing out the tub. The owner, Regan, is very detail oriented. He came up with an awesome design that addressed things I wouldn't have thought of, like putting the soap shelf at the top of the shower recess so the soap doesn't disintegrate due to humidity. The quality of the work was impeccable, too. We had one glitch, which is that the pipe under the shower was broken, but Adair's was able to tack it on to the job. They also took pictures for insurance so I wouldn't have to deal with it. I'm seeing some older negative reviews. My understanding is that the store is under new ownership. Things to buy at big box stores: toothpaste, batteries, cleaning products, etc. Things to purchase from local professionals: remodeling work for your home. I will never understand why anybody would be crazy enough to trust some giant corporation with remodeling their most precious asset - their home. (I wouldn't even trust a big company to change the oil in my car, let alone my house's floors, cabinets, window treatments, etc.) If QUALITY is important to you and you're not just looking for something cheap, check out Adair's Fine Floors, etc. They'll make your ugly home interior beautiful. read more

Adairs installed about 3,000 sqft of hardwood flooring in our home after years ago. They subcontract installers per the installers. The installers didn't know how to reinstall the dishwasher and Adairs pretty much advised we were out of luck to expect them put the dishwasher back correctly. The dishwasher they moved. Wow!!! Pathetic service and how dare them not advise us the floor installers we're not employees for security reasons. Buyer beware of this company. read more

The process of a remodel is nothing short of stressful. Finding the perfect touches are even more difficult with all the beautiful options available. For the last several days I've been to multiple!!! flooring companies in the Dallas area and spoken to many kind and helpful salesmen/women. Yet, today I was blessed to have met Regan at Adair's. I can't say enough praises for his professionalism, kindness and knowledge of his products and showroom. He spent time pulling different items from his showroom and providing suggestions and helping me find extraordinary wood and tile. I was only looking for hardwood today but I'll be buying all my carpet and tile at Adair's for my current remodel! Thank you again Regan. I recently had to replace 900 square feet of wood flooring due to a massive leak. So glad I found Adairs. They are right in my neighborhood, and have been in Lake Highlands for years. They have a massive showroom and we're very helpful and patient as it took me a long time to decide. I am extremely happy with my experience with them and the installer was the absolute best. If I could give a zero review I would. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here if you want to be treated with respect and kindness. I went into the store looking for laminate and inquired about any specials they may have. First, the woman acted like she didn't want to get up to help me. Second, the woman acted as if it was an abomination to request laminate floors (even though they carried it). Then she "politely" (yes this is sarcasm) informed me that, and I quote, "our installers have families to feed and we have to pay them so, no, we don't offer any specials." Wow...a simple "no we don't have any specials" would suffice. I was livid. I informed her that she should find a ew response to that question. I am a business owner of 5+ years and would never treat a potential client so carelessly. The only thing that kept me from going off is knowing that karma will take care of her. Amen! read more

Great family run business that cares about giving great service. We had porcelain tiles put in our kitchen in a diagonal patter and their installers did a great job. Now we are having luxury vinyl plank floors put in 4 rooms and a hall. We have also bought carpet. Each purchase everyone at Adair's spent the time to make sure we were very happy. read more

I'm really shocked by the reviews below. I called Adair after trying two Peeks carpet locations looking for a very specific carpet. At both Peeks locations, I salespeople (one "hard sell" type) who were not able to convince me that they understood what I was asking for. I finally tried Adair Fine Floors, after noticing them as a distributor of the brand of carpet I was looking for. The people at Adair Fine Floors were so helpful. First, they found this special variety of carpet that my mother-in-law wanted to match, that she had been given the wrong name for! Even with that misinformation, the lady at Adair found the correct carpet. Then, Mr. Adair spent a couple hours at my mother-in-law's home, making sure that it was the right match and that my mother-in-law's specifications would be met. He was very personable and helpful, which was good because my mother-in-law always has a lot of questions to be answered. :-) Lastly, there was a scheduling confusion. Adair managed that quite well, even after being turned away at the door on the scheduled install day. They rescheduled, stayed positive, and were incredibly flexible. I would recommend them to anyone the Dallas area. I like their diligence, and appreciate supporting small family businesses like this, who offer truly personalized service, without pressuring. read more

We went in there and right off the bat, they couldn't answer the questions we had but we were referred by a friend who highly recommended this place so we decided to continue. After spending half an hour by ourselves, we checked out some pieces of stone then called to schedule a time for them to come to measure which was painfully difficult to do. When the owner came out and measured he neglected to tell me the new counter would be shorter then the existing counter even after we told him we wanted to keep the current back splash. So the day before the counters were installed we got a call how we wanted the edges and we had no clue what they were talking about why wouldn't they bring that up in the beginning and were told to look it up on google and "pick one". After the counters were installed we now have almost 3/4" of an inch gap between the back splash and the new counter tops. I called to express my concern with the large gap and was told to just caulk it I explained to them it was far to large to just caulk and ask if they could come out and give me some options on how to fix it after arguing back and forth with Linda and being hung up on multiple times I've decided that the three weeks I have been dealing with this company this has been the worst customer service ever and I will go out of my way to tell people not to use this place read more

Would not recommend. When I went in there was no one who could answer my questions. I said I wanted them to come and take measurements so we could set something up, so I filled out a form with my contact information on it, left to get a cup of coffee to wait for the person who knew something to return. When I returned, the couple was openly squabbling and couldn't pull themselves away to help me. The woman caught me on the way out and sort of answered a few of my questions. They had lost my contact sheet (15 minutes later) so we filled it out again. I told her which tile I wanted, which she told me was $4.25/sq ft WITH installation, and she wrote it down on my contact sheet. I took the tile home, had it approved by the boss. The guy came out to measure (he was early and was getting in his car to leave as I pulled up), took five minutes, and I asked what an estimate would be. He said he had no idea and pulled out my contact sheet-- the first one, without the tile I had chosen. I told him to find the other sheet, and he said he would have an estimate by Monday. Late Tuesday afternoon I hadn't heard, and called to get the measurements because he hadn't left me with them. I was very polite and simply asked what the measurements were, but the woman clearly realized they had messed up and got defensive and rude, saying, "I WOULD have called you with an estimate, but I don't know what you want. You have to pick something out." I didn't even try to explain, I am completely done with this company. It's a shame, because they're close and after I finish this project I have a much bigger area I would love to have used a family-owned business for. read more

i only wish less than one star was an option. these people have a resale license. do not stand behind the products they sell. accusations, screaming, all over a complaint which started in march. as of october 11th still no resolve. i was asked to remove boards so they could test for pet urine. i don't have pets.
