This is not a reliable transportation company. On our recent trip to PR, transportation to & from the airport was booked with this company through our travel agent. We were picked up from the airport within a reasonable time BUT the driver was a NO SHOW picking us up from the hotel and transporting us to the airport. The representative, Karen, was supposed to find out where our driver was and never called back with an update. Terible customer service and this transportation company was paid for a service that they DID NOT provide!!! DO NOT rely on this transportation company for scheduled services. read more

l had a pickup scheduled for 4:30am on Friday. They called me two-days in advance to confirm, only to leave me sitting at the hotel waiting for my pickup for my flight this morning! I called the office but wasn't able to leave a voicemail and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I called an Uber which was cheaper and quicker and was able to make it to the airport on time for my flight. I've used Adames for all of my past travels to Puerto Rico but after this experience, never again! When I called, the agent said they would issue a refund but, there was no explanation for why we were virtually "ghosted" for our pickup. Lousy service, leave these folks alone a take an Uber or some other form of transportation. Luxury travel companies don't leave paying customers in a lurch! read more

This company forgot to pick up my family at the San Juan airport at 11pm. They claim it was scheduling entry error although we communicated via email many times confirming our reservation prior to our trip. My family waited until after midnight calling their "24/7" telephone number to only receive voicemail messages that they would get back to me when they return. I never received any calls then or days after. Reluctantly, Adames was scheduled to pick us up for our return to airport which my travel agency insured was booked. Upon pick up, we were greeted with the same airport taxi company who luckily brought us to the resort at 12:30 am a week earlier. The taxi fare going to the resort was 30% less then Adames Transportation charged in my booking and the Airport taxi service was professional with nice clean vehicles. Unfortunately, my return transportation was still booked through adames so I ultimately paid their rate for an airport taxi cab.... Do not risk not being picked up or your time with this company. Save some money as well-I recommend using the airports taxi services. read more

This company is truly a rare find in the travel industry. Impeccable service, New vehicles and reasonable prices. They don't have a huge presence in online reviews, so I felt a little unsure. My travel agency (Memories and Magic Vacations on Facebook) booked Adames for our airport transportation and 2 tours (Rainforest and Old San Juan) as part of our vacation package. For the price I paid, I expected a stinky bus full of people and crazy drivers... But instead I got brand new cars, safe drivers, the nicest people you'd ever meet and private tours. We truly felt like celebrities. Our tour guide, Manny, was very friendly and is truly a walking encyclopedia of Puerto Rican history. United Airlines arranged the transfers for us with Adames and we are so impressed with everything about them. Punctuality, no anxiety at the airport, they are already looking for you when you arrive. Terrible service! They took almost an hour to pick us up from the airport. Then when we were leaving the island the service agreed to pick us up at 5 am. We called at 4:45 after checking out the hotel to see if they were in route and they said that they would arrive around 530. Our flight boards at 6:45. I like to be early to the airport in case of any issues. This was very unprofessional. If you want to stand in the hot sun and be late for your flight book with them! read more

After being in quarantine for a year, using this service was not a great start to our trip. We landed at 1:15. Did not leave the airport on this service until 3:20. I was told someone was supposed to meet us at baggage claim with a sign. No one showed up. My husband and I walked through the parking lot asking other services if they knew where we could find them. Finally we found them and waited an additional hour for a shuttle. I was told they were coming in a few minutes but that turned into an hour wait. I am hoping our return service to the airport will be much better. Customer service could be much better, i'm praying the rest of our trip Is much better. I'm a travel agent and my clients had a difficult time finding them upon landing at the airport; and when it was time to return home the car service was a no show; even though payment was provided well before the travel dates. My clients ended up taking an Uber to the airport. Pickup was at 7am. They were waiting outside and clearly would have been seen. Although punctual, there was NO communication. I purchased airport transfers and a rainforest excursion with this company all when booking my trip to San Juan through Cheapcaribbean. Thank goodness the owner met us at the airport carousel upon arriving to San Juan. I got no email confirming a pick up and was so thankful when he appeared holding my name. He talked a bunch about things to do with my family while bringing me to the hotel. I had to mention my rainforest excursion. I suggested a date that I wanted to go and he said he'd look into it when he got back to the office. I never heard back. I had to call the company only to find out that the day I wanted couldn't happen because there was no tour guide. So I had to take the next day, which I really didn't want. The rainforest tour was a BUST. It was nothing like promised and very disappointing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, BUT WE LEGIT didn't hike one trail. We spent hours driving in the van. The trails were closed due to Hurricane Maria. We went to several spots and got out of the van to take pictures and use the bathroom. It was definitely not worth the wasted half day away from the hotel and $55 per person. I think they shouldn't be selling an excursion that they can't follow through with. Then I had to call the company again to confirm my pick up for the airport. I was given such an early time leaving me with hours to kill at the airport. When I asked if my pick up time could be changed, they said NO since their schedule was already planned for the day. We recently purchased and traveled to Puerto Rico and booked our transportation with Adams. It was fine on the trip to the hotel. But on the trip back to the airport they failed to pick us up. I called them while standing out in front of the hotel at the office. They informed me that the driver was there early. I then told them there was no driver from Adams there. She said she would check and call me back. 20 minutes later I called back again because they did not call me and I only got a voice mail. They never returned my call. I had to find other transportation. When I called back to the office of Adams and asked for a refund the woman was rude, never apologized and hung up on me. I used this service to get to and from the airport. The drivers were friendly, safe, punctual, knowledgeable about the city. They offered me a non-alcoholic drink when I travelled. And they had my name printed out as I entered baggage claim, so it was very easy to find them. Definitely a step up from your average taxi service. read more

I cannot say enough about Adames Sedan Service! My husband and I vacationed in San Juan celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived the gentleman was extremely nice and helpful. On the way to our resort he took time out of his day to show us some of the historic tourist attractions Puerto Rico had to offer their tourists. He was very knowledgeable, gracious, funny and light hearted. We enjoyed him so much we decided to use their transportation services to visit Old San Juan for the day. When we were picked up by another gentleman. After he greeted us we found out he was the father of the gentleman who picked us up at the airport! It was obvious his son had told him about us by the things we talked about. We felt like we had known him before! He brought us to other historical places, provided maps and then gave us recommendations of where to eat in Old San Juan. We agreed on a pick up time. His son met us on time and brought us back to our resort. At the end of our vacation, the son was the one who brought us to the airport. The rates of Adames Sedan Services had competitive rates. We could pay in cash or charge card. We felt like we got alot more than what they charged. They made sure to provide us w/ phone numbers in case we needed to go back to the resort early. The many times we called Adames Sedan Services the person on the other end was very nice and helpful- just as much as the two drivers. Of all the times we have used limo/ livery services while traveling, we have never found one that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Adames Sedan Services and plan on using them again when we go back to San Juan. read more
