In my opinion, when comparing this store and the branch in Newcastle, perhaps even adding the branches of Primark in both Oldham and Manchester city centre, closer to my home into the mix, this is one of my favourite stores. The sign is modern and it does have some slightly modern features, and it also seemed less busy than most other city centre stores such as Manchester on my trip. I found the staff to be friendly, we got chatting about technology and Apple pay, I was served quite quickly despite there being a queue, it seemed to be well-managed which was good. The product range was quite satisfactory but mainly summer-based, for example, I found it quite difficult to get long sleeve t-shirts away from their suits and smart range, which was a shame. For a clothes shop, this is probably slightly above average, some of the products in all honesty are just junk and things you would wear once and seem to be of the lower quality, but some things from here are okay, and I feel as one of the better Primark stores I have visited, this store deserves a three star rating.

This store is located on Northumberland Street in a fairly decent location in the city centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The store is over four floors, with Women's on the Ground Floor, Mens in the "Basement" and a Costa Coffee store with the Kids range and Customer Services on the upper/second floor. The staff around the store seemed average, perhaps less helpful than other branches, however. A decent store in a decent location - hence the reason I'm struggling to rate this place, yet sadly due to some slight issues with product range, slight issues with service not being as good as other Primark branches and issues with the overall feel of the store in parts, the lifts also were an issue for me, I feel this store only deserves a medium to high two-star rating at best.

It opened in 2012 to replace the old BHS and it has proven popular with Newcastle because it's always jam packed. The basement has the menswear department which is pretty large. I can always find something I like on this floor. The ground and first floors are both taken up by the womenswear but the second floor has the amazing Primark home section, accessories and a Costa, which you can head to if you want to escape the crowds of the main store. Even though it does get VERY packed, the store is very spacious, so it doesn't really feel busy. The escalator arrangement is complete and utter pants. You have to go to the other side of the store to get to the next one in the set, what rubbish! Also the elevators (even though there is lots of them) feel like they are always flooded with people. It has a good layout, it is pretty generous in size, mens department is big and it has a coffee shop, so what is not to like about Primark Newcastle?

This is the main shop in Peterlee to get school uniform with your local school logo on…read more It is in the chare (indoor) at peterlee town centre they have a good range of all school uniform and baby clothes aswell as pushchairs and prams. This shop can be very busy and items sell out fast so try and buy items early. This shop is not huge so only has two changing rooms so be prepared to wait. All of the uniforms they sell with the school logos on are a good price and great quality stay away from the cheap plain school jumpers they are total rubbish. Make sure you keep your receipt because they can be funny about giving money back and exchanges. Sometimes the staff are not the most helpful of people.

Had sold out of a few items that i needed but my details were taken and within a couple of days (which the member of staff had quoted) the items were put a side for me as promised. It also sells baby clothes and accessories for babies along with prams and pushchairs. I'll be going there for a few years to come yet.

This store is quite big with school school uniforms first, then baby, children and womens work clothes clockwise. Womens underwear and casual clothes are towards the back of the store with shoes in the middle front and a small mens section. On the right side of the store is a home section that had a few interesting pieces but nothing eye-catching. The staff didnt seem all that bohered to tidy and kept to themselves hidden behind the tills. Overall, this store didn't really leave much of an impression.

It's also sometimes differcult to find an assistant to get help. 9 times out of ten you get told, everything is out on the shelves / racks. I'm 6ft which is tall for a girl and wear size 9/10 shoes. Evans clothes seem to fit me really well and they hang better than lots of other places. They are the only ladies shoe shop that goes up to a size 10, which is handy for me as it depends on the style as to which size I need. The clothes and shoes can be on the pricey side, but they are good quality and last for a long time, so definitely good value for money!
