My wife and I were in his shop and my wife noticed a Seiko memories in motion clock that she liked a lot. The clock was $479 and the owner said he purchased it at an estate sale. When I asked him how much they went for new he replied around $600. We ended up purchasing the clock only to discover when we got home and looked online that they clock sells on multiple websites for around $150 brand new. He outright lied. Mr. Adams doesn't bother to respond to voicemails (if box isn't full and able to leave message), multiple kind, patient emails or text messages. My husband and I recently purchased a used Seiko "Memories In Motion" electronic wall clock from Mr. Adams for a little over $500. When I point blank asked Mr. Adams how much the clock sold for new he replied "about $600". When we got home we discovered the clock sold for $98.98 new at Sam's Club as do other similar models. Whatever you do if you have a clock in need of repair DON'T take it to this place. He had my antique wall clock that only needed cleaning oiling and putting back in beat for 4 months and when I got it back he had ruined it. Parts were broken, it wouldn't strike (which it was striking perfect before he had it) hands were loose just dangling on face. He charged me $350.00 for oiling & cleaning which I'm not sure if he did either. He was so rude to me when I would stop by the shop to check on my clock and wouldn't answer his phone or call me back when I would call. Thank goodness I found a certified clockmaker that knew what he was doing and how to correct all the mess Adams made and now it is working find. Don't know how Adams stays in business. read more

Something's recently amiss at Adams Clocks & Repair. He no longer answers his phone. Calling only results in a request to leave a message. After leaving four over the course of a month, none of which he returned, I can't help but wonder if he's ill. I reside too far away to go to his shop to inquire in person. While visiting the area I stopped by Adams Clocks & Repairs. Mr.Adams is very friendly and welcomed us into his shop. It was like going back in time. It was a wonderful experience. Mr. Adams is very knowledgeable about the different clocks he sells and gave us a demonstration of how several of the clock operate.
