Even though I didn't ask, this was an added security measure that put me at ease. After the first lesson, I reached out to the instructor to see how things went and communicate some skills I hoped she could work on. (At this point, she had mastered basic driving skills, but I wanted her to be more comfortable with interstate and high traffic driving.) His response was both confusing and alarming. He responded in a very aggressive manor. I was blown away at the response and had to re-read the text to see if I had mistyped something. I contacted the office, read them the text message. They were very apologetic stating that was not his normal behavior. I asked if they had the footage from her lesson so that I could understand what I was missing, but they stated that they were unable to separate other children out of the video, so they could not show me. I didn't think much of it, but thought it was odd to advertise this safety feature and not actually have it available for parents to view. They offered a new instructor and I was appreciative. When we got the new instructor's name, I discovered that he had MULTIPLE felonies including drug charges, domestic violence, and breaking and entering. He was convicted and served prison time just 2 years prior for domestic violence, violating a restraining order, and breaking and entering the home of the victim. I literally had the thought that maybe this guy had a double ganger because they said they did background checks. Unfortunately, this was not the case. They had been aware of the felonies, then lied to me and said that it was "a long time ago", and that he was "not convicted" even though the public record showed he was. I explained my concerns with my daughter being alone in a car with this man and my disappointment with the dishonesty in their policies. I also acknowledged that he may be a great instructor, and I feel that everyone deserves a second chance. However, I did not feel comfortable with him teaching my daughter with his history. I asked for a refund, and it was granted. Please be cautious with instructors from this driving school. I ended up hiring Shannon from Adapt2Drive. Due to the level of experience of my daughter's skills, she only needed 3 lessons. Shannon was amazing and my daughter passed her driving test with flying colors.

Lack of communication, booked four dates and the owner cxld the first three (didn't even remember he'd scheduled the first one, claimed AFTER the start time of the lesson that he was sick on the other two). I'm just grateful we didn't give him any money yet. When the owner Sat saw my poor review on Google, he apologized and offered two free lessons which I declined especially because they wouldn't start for three weeks, but also because I just lost all trust in this company. Then he tried to get me to remove my review which I will absolutely not do. I have a feeling that the Google reviews are not real ones because every review on yelp (which are poor) is exactly similar to our experience, yet he's rated 4.9 stars on Google with the most glowing recommendations I've ever seen. Something isn't adding up!

This is not an example to set for your students, and when you have a companies name plastered all over your car you are representing the company and should really follow traffic laws. There are small children in this neighborhood. I promise that I would never send my children to S & S if these are the type of drivers they have. #disappointing
