They showed up just when they said they would and worked efficiently, they got right to it and did not stop until they had the job completed. The small pad in front of the door is 3" - 6" off center, left over concrete poured on the lot behind my house, which I don't own. My fence he took down wasn't put back together correctly. It will cost thousands upon thousands to correct. He won't respond to text messages. He's a Home Depot "Pro" so hopefully there's recourse through Home Depot. I would never recommend this contractor and he will never set foot on my property again.

Esteban walked away after being paid nearly $70,000, leaving behind poor workmanship, damage, and incomplete work. From the start, he promised professional, high-quality results and claimed he could do better than our previous handyman. Instead, it quickly became clear he was in over his head and did not understand the full steps of a complete full home remodel. As the project dragged on, I found myself having to check in constantly and even advise him on how to get the work done, which is absurd for a licensed contractor. The list of issues is long: Paint job never completed in bedrooms and on cabinets Overspray on cabinets and our newly stained concrete floors (which we had to pay out of pocket to clean) Damaged drywall and poorly done texture LUMPY AND CROOKED WALLS throughout the home Damaged gutters Terrible grout work and poor Schluter trim installation in every bathroom New flooring installed over weak structural areas he promised to repair--but didn't Esteban later admitted he underbid the project and then stopped responding to calls and messages, leaving us stranded. We moved here from Connecticut hoping for help restoring our home after a flood, but instead were left with even more damage and stress. TEXGEN cannot be trusted. Esteban lacks the skill, professionalism, and accountability to manage or complete a full remodel. Hiring him has been an expensive, exhausting, and deeply disappointing experience. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. We hired him because we saw glowing reviews but are shocked to have experienced this situation. Those reviews cannot be real at this point. He'll be hearing from us soon again. We have reached out to him several times to which he did not reply. Tell me - from the pictures, would anyone be proud of this work? This is a DIYer skill at best and even most DIYers would be ashamed. This is how Esteban chose to leave our home. The nights of crying and frustration after realizing that someone can take your money and do this. ALL FUTURE HOMEOWNERS: BEWARE!!! Seriously - do not give this company your business. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.

He was quick to return my call. We made an appointment and he showed up. I needed my dining, living, kitchen and breakfast areas painted and was interested in removing the popcorn if the price was doable. The price was good so the whole area got a makeover. They arrived on time. Everything was covered and taped down. Omar and his helper worked diligently only stopping for a short lunch break. He was very organized in his schedule. While waiting for things to dry, he did something else. No time wasted. He finished in 2 days. The ceiling has an orange peel texture and that ugly, dated popcorn is history. The walls are bright and fresh and the change makes the room look bigger. They cleaned up quickly, swept and then put the furniture back to original positions. I cannot recommend Omar enough, especially if you want to enter the abyss of popcorn removal. lol Several months later: I called Omar back to do some work in my kitchen--areas that were too high for me to reach. I wanted him to finish painting my kitchen cabinets and to do the trim around the top. I told him I was very picky about my cabinets and did not want any drips or dragging from using too much paint. He was painting dark blue cabinets and the walls were white. He did a perfect job blending where I stopped and he finished. There were no places where the blue paint got onto the white. There was a issue with what was covered in the price he quoted me. The quote was based on pics I sent him from my phone. He wasn't careful when he read what I needed and didn't look at the pictures closely. But he honored the price he quoted me and did the work. It looks great and I will use him again if the opportunity arises.
