History
Established in 2000.
Before establishing ADDVantage Tax, Sylvia worked for other mid size tax firms providing services in Tax Preparation, accounting, audit and payroll. She continues to provide tax preparation, payroll and audit services. Sylvia is an Enrolled Agent allowed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service at the national level. She has been very successful in providing representation to her clients during audits. Her success is attributed to her dedication in keeping up with all the new laws and providing her clients with good service.
Meet the Business Owner: Sylvia G.
Sylvia became interested in Tax Prepartion at age 17, when her accounting teacher asked for volunteers to the VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, at that time run by the Internal Revenue Service. She became a volunteer and filled out hundreds of tax returns for low income individuals. She received an Associates of Arts degree in Business. She earned her designation of Enrolled Agent in 2003. She has been preparing tax returns since 1982 and opened her own business in 2000.
