I'm sorry we won't be coming here for our future tax needs. As we look to tax professionals for guidance and their expertise, it is important to share this experience with potential customers. The Experience: We had our taxes done 2 years ago and were told someone else had filed under our social security number. The instruction we were given, was to file by paper. We waited patiently as the IRS site, "Where's My Refund," prompted us the return was received and being processed. After two years of going back and forth with All Valley Tax and the IRS, an IRS rep finally suggested we complete the 14039 Identity Theft Affidavit. I do believe having this form filed with our tax return would have accelerated the process. The Bottom Line: Before learning about the Identity Theft Affidavit, Dindi and All Valley tax were not helpful when we called for guidance. At times we felt ignored as they provided reasons for being too busy. They even shared they wouldn't help because we were no longer filing with them. The question then, if I were to be audited for 2022, would they no longer be assisting? The next question to ask is, if another identity theft situation arises, is this the quality of their protocols? read more

When I think of All Valley Tax I get a song stuck in my head..."Simply the best...Better than all the rest..." Ha! That sums it up, but I know people are looking for more than that...so here we go... When you go to get your taxes done and you either walk into a place or call to make an appointment...do you feel like you are only being treated as good as the tax form you represent? Or your W-2? Your assets or lack thereof perhaps? Either they see $$ signs or they don't when you appear and you get treated...ummm...differently?! Yep, I've been down that road...and I ended up getting screwed to put it mildly. Reality is, it's a business. We are all different people with very different lives, income, situations, etc. and I, for one, need someone's full attention. At All Valley Tax, they have never treated me like this or anything else mentioned above...you are extended family and when it comes to business they are true professionals. They treat each and every person uniquely as they should be and they are very thorough. But they don't read minds either...all you have to be is honest, be prepared, be responsible and be realistic. To cut to the chase, there is so much more to taxes than what meets the eye. I remember when I thought my taxes were cut & dry since I was with the wrong tax preparer and/or was using the wrong tax preparation services. Once All Valley Tax started doing my taxes I learned so much...and I realized I missed out as well. Granted, some taxes are easy peasy, but some aren't and you may not even realize it. Even with the easy ones there could be something you could claim or whatever. Let the experts handle it...and that is All Valley Tax. Karol and Rozanne are the owners, but it really doesn't matter who handles your taxes or business in there...they are all top notch and ready to handle whatever you want to toss at them. Personally, Karol and/or her team have been doing my taxes for more than a few decades. Sure, their website says they handle stuff in California...whatever! Yes, they handle you folks out there in Cali for sure! However, my family and I have lived all over the world and the USofA and if there is one thing I could always count on...it was/is All Valley Tax. They didn't kick me to the curb because I wasn't local, but rather I have a history with them that has come in quite handy over the years. Yes, even before the internet was popular. I wouldn't even think of switching! They have others, like me/us, that live in other parts of the USA and the world that count on them. I know I have referred folks to them that are far from Cali. When you know you have the best, you stick with it. Karol and Rozanne have over 30 years experience and both of them ensure they and their team stay current and up date with the changes all the time. Although they do add new preparers now and then, but they wouldn't be on Team AVT if they weren't top notch. Plus, you have mainstay team members like Paul with 30 years experience and Dindi who has been with them for 20 years. Speaking of staying current...do you know there are a lot of changes this year? In this day and age where laws are supposedly simplified, taxes are harder than ever to understand since this is the most extreme changes in what seems like forever. From Deb to Karol to Dindi Cervantes who does such an amazing job with the stack of nonsense I plop on her desk every 12 months. I will not lie, this is WAY out of my lane and year in and year out Dindi does a great job and even tries her best to explain to me the how and why as if I have a clue of which she speaks (which I do not). Some may consider a trip to the tax office a smidge better than a root canal, but this team makes the experience as pleasurable as humanly possible. And their rates are fair as well. Not expensive, and not cheap, if you want cheap find some hack who has no clue about tax code you found with a groupon. My best regards when the audit hits! Karol has been doing my taxes for so long that I can't remember when I started having her do them. The work she produces each and every year is top quality. If I have a tax question that I just HAVE TO HAVE answered, I call her. If she doesn't answer the phone, she will call me back the next day. There's no waiting around for an answer... she provides it. I don't bother worrying about tax cuts, etc. that I hear on the news because I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Karol will know what the latest laws are. I wouldn't dream of going to anybody else. Karol doesn't have to pay a mascot to twirl a sign dressed up like the Statue of Liberty to drum up business. Unfortunately I did not have the same positive experience with this company that so many others have had. Most notably, the office takes the "off season" to extremes, and is not available to help with tax issues that arise during the rest of the year. Very literally, they close up shop and do not respond to questions, phone calls, emails etc. outside of the traditional tax season. read more
