just nowNEW I wanted my septum pierced for a long time, so I went to this place to get it done. The girl who did it was definitely on some sort of substance, and pierced my septum in the wrong place. The pain was a 9 on a scale 1-10 which isn't normal. After she was done, she did not hold up a mirror for me to see how it looked, and she dropped the screw on balls multiple times after it was pierced and was rushing the entire time. She took no time all all to make sure the placement of the needle was going through the correct spot, either. I tipped her and went on my way, excited to have my septum pierced. When I got home to look at it I noticed the ball came off, and that it was pierced very low down, not in my sweet spot, but in the thick cartridge, which is why it was so painful. The shop had closed, so I had to go to another shop, and paid with a tip $85.00 for them to put on a new ball. Obviously I wasn't happy, but didnt want my fresh piercing to fall out and close. They also told me the septum jewelry was the wrong size, which contributed to the swelling. Thankfully they gave me after care institutions, because the girl that pierced me quickly rattled through a couple things, but left stuff out that I should of been told. It has now been 4 days since I had my piercing, and the pain is intense and the swelling is much worse, to the point where the balls are pressing into the skin, and the piercing is barely showing. I've been cleaning it EXACTLY as I should, as well as taking ibuprofen, and doing warm salt soaks. I paid a total of 80 bucks for this service and all for this! Today I called to speak with the manager or owner and whoever answered the phone apologized and told me the manager or owner would be there, and told me to come in which I did. I went to the one store (there are 2 in the mall) and was treated like crap and was told the piercer would have to look at it, to which I declined, as she was the one who did all this to begin with. Also, no manager or owner was there. I was told to go to the other store they have in the mall and told the kid there I had called, and requested to speak with the manager or owner. He was rude af, and completely unconcerned with what I had to say. No apology, nothing, and basically said oh well they aren't here so bye. I'm never a person to complain, and was so excited for this, and I was left angry, dissatisfied, disappointed, worried, and feel like no one cared. The customer service was awful. I expected so much better. I genuinely hope someone with some authority there gets ahold of me and makes this right. I'm going to go to the doctor asap, and I'll be more than happy to bring the note with me. I've worked in customer service for most of my adult life, and I've never had a more awful experience. NEVER. I just hope to God I don't have serious complications bc of all if this. This whole ordeal cost me 160.00 so far, and that's not even counting my upcoming doctor appointment. Someone needs to make this right, or I'm contacting a lawyer. read more

I hadn't gotten a tattoo in over 10 years because I wanted to make sure that it was professional and perfect. To make a long story short. CHRIS, YOU DA MAN!!! I went in the first day for a simple shield tattoo of my Fraternity (KAPPA ALPHA PSI). And because he was so confident in his free hand, I added a LONE WOLF tattoo... I liked the work so much, I wet back the very next day and added a KING TUT Head piece to continue working on my sleeve. STAY AWAY! I went in for a tattoo with Chris, and all he did during the tattoo session was sexually harass me and even tried grabbing my wrist to kiss me. Not only was he inoppropriate and unprofessional, he was so distracted with his intensions he messed up my tattoo with uneven lines and blown out points. After the tattoo was done he proceeded to text his "sexual intentions" not knowing how to take NO for an answer. I was appalled. Even though he was clearly embarrassed that I declined his advances, he kept trying. As the tattoo was healing I noticed more and more mistakes on his part. I texted him multiple times giving him the opportunity to work with me and correct his errors, but he ignored the messages and never responded. I contacted the shop owner Julie, who seemed to be helping me get the help I needed to correct his errors but after multiple attempts my feelings were that she was pretended to care. She kept saying this and that would be done but I'd never hear back from her. I always had to be the one following up. I did not get any help and every attempt I made, which was multiple, were ignored and pushed aside. Eventually I got a text from Miguel, the supposed shop manager, saying he was going to fix it. I set up a time with him to go over details. Went to the shop on that day, and he wanted me to lift my top in his room while he had another customer lying down to get tatted. This was as unprofessional as the previous situation and I had requested another space to show him. After that humiltating experience I didn't hear from him about what was going to be done, and I was left being the one always following up with him. He then told me he's dumping me onto another tattoo artist, Vic. I was told then that I had an appointment at a specific time and day with out ever being asked if that day/time worked for me. Almost two months later, I went to the shop to meet Vic. Miguel greeted me but proceeded to ignore my presence and seemed to be more interested in whatever he was doing on his phone. With an unprofessional manner he told me Vic wasn't in yet and it seem to really not bother or matter to him. I requested some ideas on paper to review and discuss about how this was going to fixed and never got any drawings of the corrections or call/text from Vic as promised. He again shrugged and said he'll draw it on you. While I was looking for Julie's phone #, Miguel came out and said I wasn't going to be very happy and 15 minutes after my appt was suppose to take place I was told Vic wasn't coming in. I called Julie and she again didn't seem to care but said she'd call Miguel and get back to me. He later came out and handed me a cash refund which wasn't even the full amount. Not only did they waste almost two months of my time when I could have gotten this fixed somewhere else, they laughed it off like I was the problem. This place is beyond unprofessional. I doubt I'm the first female Chris or any of the guys there have sexually harassed. The owners obviously don't care. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and posting this review everywhere I can. I will never go to another Tattoo Shop in a Mall or one owned by someone who does not even tattoo. I advise you to look for another tattoo shop. Save your money and your time by avoiding these unprofessional bigots. Why some tattoo wanna be artists think any female sitting in their chair is a piece of meat is beyond me! Maybe they think this act will cover up their terrible work. read more
