I was warned before I even started about a co-worker who was very difficult to work with. I found this to be true after only a few days in the role. I was yelled at and spoken down to by the co-worker and, as appropriate, I notified my manager on-site. I had to inform her of a few different instances that made for a hostile work environment and as a result, the company retaliated. Not only was I terminated for invalid reasons, my reporting of problems and lies told by the co-worker that's so difficult, I wasn't even given a chance to speak on the allegation that I acted unprofessionally. The claim was made after I facilitated a presentation on a topic approved by my on-site manager, Holly Goulding, which she told me I did a good job with afterward. Rather than ask what happened, Shelby was very accusatory and incredibly rude, demonstrating no concern for the truth or behaving in an ethical manner. Furthermore, the company lied to unemployment, but of course, could not support their claims, so I have been granted access to the resource.

Before agreeing to make the 25-mile drive to their Roswell office, I told the 'recruiter' that I don't consult or provide any information to agencies UNLESS a position is presented. He agreed that they had a position that he felt "was a good fit." However, during our conference, the recruiter could not give me any specific information about the position and it was evident that they were 'scouting' for candidates to have in their pool, and that there was NO position to offer at that time. I.E., I'd been blindsided. I asked the veteran recruiter (the lesser was "new" at this career) why did Optomi have such a difficult time, based on years of applying with various positions with the agency online, following up with applicants (I provided over 40 examples of jobs that I'd personally applied for over a 7-year period). He said blatantly "We follow up with all of them." I revealed my evidence and then he walked back his statement and said "Because of the amount of volume we receive from applicants online, we don't have time to follow up." I then asked the novice recruiter what experience he had recruiting project managers and placing them in positions. He laughed and replied "I haven't. I used to manage the Malibu Grand Prix go-cart park.".......
