Hands down the worst experience we've had with an accountant in 25+ years of business. Sparse communication, fragmented work, stonewalling and gaslighting have been the core aspects of the relationship. Attention to detail or any of the kindness and empathy usually present in a partnership has been woefully absent. We've tried everything to make it work, from being flexible to waiting weeks on end, all to culminate with consistent and blatant unprofessionalism. He left us in a horrible state of affairs and worse, he invoiced us despite never actually doing the work properly. He left us high and dry on myriad issues. He is not well-informed on newer policies and statutes, which makes his advice and abilities antiquated at best and negligent at worst. There is an arrogance within this establishment that is palpable, and it's backed up by words that fail to match any real strategic action or industry-specific wisdom. Do not trust your business to this firm, or to Mr. Stackrow.
